Thank you to our wonderful customers for a tremendous holiday season! All orders have been shipped out. If you have any questions or concerns please Convo us. Vo Studio Ceramics will be closed for the next couple of months as we go through some exciting changes.
We make handmade modern studio ceramic stoneware art pottery of sculptural teapots, serving platters, cups, bowls, plates, trays, mugs, and casserole dishes. We also make contemporary items for home decor such as clocks, vases, tiles, wall hangings, aquariums and other sculptural pieces.
Vo Studio Ceramics is an independent two person pottery art studio. Our modern ceramic pieces depict cityscapes, seascapes, landscapes, and abstract artwork that are richly decorated and highly textured with a modern minimalist industrial urban edge. All platters, plates, mugs, bowls, casseroles, and home decor are functional as well as decorative and are meant to be used and enjoyed in the home.
All our tableware, dinnerware, and serving ware are made from durable stoneware clay which heats very evenly and holds in hot and cold temperatures well. We only use food safe commercial clays and glazes on all our items.
Stoneware is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all ceramic pottery, stoneware should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.

5 out of 5 starsI bought multiple pieces and they were promptly delivered. The packaging was great, but unfortunately one broke on the way. I contacted the shop to let them know what happened. I was so impressed with the speedy response. I was reimbursed my full amount since there was not another to replace my broken piece. I will be happy to buy another piece from this shop! Great customer service!

About VoStudioCeramics
My Pugger Saved My Life
Vo Studio Ceramics is a small independent pottery art studio operated by husband and wife team, Ian and Phuong. It is difficult to verbalize in regards to our artwork because by nature ceramicists and potters work in isolation as we develop our stylistic identities and labor towards a body of work that is wholly our own.
Our pieces depict cityscapes, seascapes, landscapes, and abstract artwork that are richly decorated and highly textured with a modern urban edge.
Ceramics has a rich history spanning thousands of years, and yet it is an art form out of place and out of time. The central theme to pottery is the making of pots for use, there was a time when artisans made every single piece of everyday items that were in turn imbued with the artist's own particular ideals of a perfect pot. But then machines took up the act of making household items, they did this faster and more efficiently and these machines in turn made potters unnecessary when it came to the production of everyday household ware. Where does this leave the craftsman or craftswoman when handmade ceramic pots as a utilitarian object becomes wholly obsolete? I argue that pottery's future lies within the clay itself used as a medium for artistic expression to convey meaning and ideas, to transcend from objects of everyday use to objects of intention that provoke and illuminate.
