Catharsis Through Creation
I’m an award winning independent artist using traditional media to create imagery of surrealism that skirt the edge of horror.
I personify the fears and emotions experienced as an epileptic. I focus on my own personal experiences with absence and tonic clonic seizures, memory loss, and depression. Incorporated into my work is mylar, a translucent material, to achieve dreamlike and ethereal imagery; this creates an important presence within the illustrations that addresses the intangible nature and uncertainty of this chronic neurological condition.
