Sizing details
To help you pick the right size, here are some general guidelines. If you typically shop Men's sizing:
* Staple Tanks/Tees: True to Size
* Muscle/Racer Tanks: Consider sizing up
If you typically shop Women's sizing:
* Staple Tanks/Tees: Consider sizing down
* Muscle/Racer Tanks: True to Size
As a reference point, our shop owner John is about 6'1, 175 lbs and wears the following sizes for items in the shop:
* Staple Tank: Medium
* Staple Tee: Medium
* Tri-Blend Tee: Medium
* Muscle Tank: Large
* Racer Tank: Large / Extra Large
Sizing charts are available so make sure to check the dimensions before buying!
Care instructions
* T-Shirts and Tanks
We own many of our own designs and have purchased them from our printing provider directly. In our experience, the t-shirts often arrive with a vinegar smell and sometimes have discoloration where the design was applied to fabric.
We have confirmed that the discoloration and smell is removed after one wash cycle. So after you make sure the product fits, give it a good wash, and everything should be good to go!
* Art Prints
To ensure these last a lifetime, it is recommended they be placed in a frame with a glass pane to help protect them from the elements.
* Art Originals
All originals are created with professional quality paints and finished with UV varnish to ensure longevity.
Custom and personalized orders
For products that are signed (art prints and books), we allow you to submit a custom message. Please be aware of the following limitations:
1. Customization that includes names or highly personal messages will result in products that cannot be returned.
2. Customization may increase processing time for prints if we do not have the print on hand. We'll notify you if this is the case.
These messages and signatures are applied with colored, permanent sharpie markers.
Shipping (Stickers, Books, Art)
* Stickers and Books
These items are shipped directly from us, always. They'll typically be shipped in a padded mailer and may include rigid inserts to help protect the package in transit.
* Art Prints
We keep a small inventory of our prints on hand and will ship from this inventory first. Prints are packaged in a protective bag and then attached to a rigid support to protect them in transit.
Presently, we only ship from inventory on hand but if we messed up counting or something, we'll let you know! And we'll figure out how to handle it from there.
* Art Originals
Due to sizing, these will be taken to the shipping store, boxed up appropriately, and shipped individually. We'll do everything we can to ensure they arrive undamaged.
Shipping (Apparel and Household)
T-shirts, tanks, tote bags, and similar items are print-on-demand items. They are shipped directly from our production partner to you according to their shipping policies. In our experience, they are individually wrapped in plastic bags, put in a mailer bag, and shipped via USPS.
Art Prints vs. Art Originals
Just to be clear, all of our art is original!
The main difference is that originals typically include techniques, effects, and textures that can't be printed. These often include ridges, glossy finishes, or interference paints that add all sorts of fun! So, even when there is a print version made available of an original, the original is still unique.
That said, when it comes to our art prints - these are archival quality prints. It's the same process and papers that are used for prints you would see in a museum. Take care of it and it'll last you a lifetime.
Custom Art Print Sizes
Many of our prints can be shipped in different sizes bigger or smaller. (For example, 8x10 prints can be made in a 16x20 or 4x5 sizing.) We usually keep smaller prints on hand because it's easier for us. If you see something you like but think a different size might be right for you, send us a message! We'll let you know what other sizes are available for that piece.
