    Welcome to Ringtail Maille!
    Each chainmaille piece is made one ring at a time by hand. I aim to make beautiful jewelry and unique accessories to add to your collections!

    Returns and exchanges
    To return an item, please contact me before shipping the item back to ensure best possible service. Send the item and/or all of its parts back with the receipt included within 30 days of original shipping. Cost, minus the price of shipping, will be refunded via PayPal when returned item is received. If the item is broken, an exchange may be made provided that I either have another of that item in stock or the proper materials to make another. If this is the situation, please allow time to make the item; progress can be recorded and sent via e-mail if buyer desires. Shipping of the new item to be exchanged will not be charged.

    After 30 days, returns will only be taken if a valid reason is provided via e-mail. Broken items will no longer be taken after 30 days.
    Payment
    All payments are to be made via PayPal.
    When canceling an order, one must cancel BEFORE the item is shipped. You have a 24 hour leeway to cancel an order.
    Shipping
    The item(s) shall be shipped via USPS within 1 - 3 days of purchase. Orders made Thursday to Saturday will be shipped the following Monday. Shipping price will depend on the weight and size of the item and the location the item is being shipped to.

    Most jewelry will be put into small zip-lock bags and then inside drawstring pouches. They will be mailed in padded envelopes. Larger items will usually be wrapped in bubble wrap and packaging paper and mailed in corrugated cardboard boxes.

    Please note that after the purchased item is in the hands of the postal service, whatever happens is out of my control, however, if there are any problems I will try to work with you to fix them. Please contact me if there are any problems!

    You may request tracking and insurance for an additional fee. If this is desired, please send me a message before purchase.
    Additional policies and FAQs
    If adjustments to an item need to be made, an extra fee may apply. Please message me prior to purchase unless otherwise mentioned in the product description (i.e. "adjustments can be made for no extra charge"); if that is the case, you may message me within 24 hours after purchase specifying the adjustments needed. Please allow additional time in shipping if this is the case.

    Custom orders may be made via e-mail only if I am open for commission and when I have the materials needed. It can sometimes take up to a month before I get the materials necessary if not readily on hand; and, depending on the complexity of the commissioned piece, it can take up to 2 weeks for me to complete the order on a normal basis. If the commissioned item is more complex or require many more rings, it may take longer to complete.

    Ordering materials special for the commissioned piece will add to the cost, and so custom orders may cost more than normal items.

    If you have made a custom order and are not satisfied with the final piece, you may choose not to purchase it from the shop. If this is the case, please e-mail me to let me know. Problems that can be fixed will be tended to, otherwise the item will be made available for anyone to buy.
