5 out of 5 starsI bought these as a surprise for my wife to wear in Fall/Winter weather. She hasn't tried them on yet, but they are pretty much the same size as her other shorts, so i know these will look cute on her. And just as important to her as looks, these will be good bum warmers.
Good service and communication from Ashley at wadulisiwoman. -

Wadulisi Woman
I remember being a child. This blond-haired, chicken-legged, freckle-faced thing with wild dreams of becoming a superstar or a scientist or a photographer. Of course, when you're a child, your head is in the clouds and the future is a far away in a land of robots and jet packs. Most people's clouds begin to clear as they age with realizations that they can't really sing or suck at chemistry, etc, and they try again...and again. I don't think my clouds ever cleared up much. I knew who I was, or moreso, who I wanted to be at a fairly young age. I was thirteen when I wrote in my diary “I am going be a famous artist one day,” and for me that meant throwing myself headfirst into a sketchbook. I remember sitting on the river wall where I grew up with a book of blank parchment, filling it with ideas, drawings, words, and pictures, studying the light and reflections the sun makes, the colors of the leaves, and everything in-between. I’ve always been a little different—some may say strange, even. I like having geodes as pets and eating dandelions that stick out between sidewalk cracks. I like moist mud marbled on my feet and staring into the sun until I can no longer see. I like wearing crowns of leaves and flowers to the market and singing 60s country down the isles. I like to laugh and cry and dance among trees. I like waking up where no one knows my name and wandering on whimsies, wayward as the wind. I like to run through open fields at dusk and sing to the moon. I like the screech and slap of screen doors, the creek and sway of porch swings, the dusk chorus of crickets and cicadas. I like to dream in colors so rich they sting the senses. I am an Earth-born seeker of light. I feel too much, think too much, love too much, hope too much. I’m not strange, though, I am an artist; a sculptor of things; a sculptor of my life—an observer of all things happening, growing, and transforming around me. I make art for myself and I make art for you, with mediums ranging from flowers to ink to fabric and paints. My mind and heart are constantly floating above those same clouds from my youth—dreaming and knowing with a gut-wrenching sense of awareness that there is more to this life than collecting paper and false smiles. I am not here to exist, I’m here to create.
