Super cute and just like the picture, arrived with a handy little polishing pad and a little rune tile to polish.

About

It only takes a spark to build a fire of creativity...

The Wicked Griffin is dedicated to complementing the slightly darker side to life with eclectic inspirations derived from Paganism, Norse Mythology, Vikings, Medieval Times, the Occult, Esoteric & Fantasy

The Wicked Griffin, officially got it’s start back in the late 90′s with the help of a high school silver smithing class. Being taught basic and advanced metal working techniques, The Wicked Griffin, aka Jacqueline decided it was time to start manifesting the images floating around her head in early 2011. I work in my home studio, where you will find me sawing, firing, hammering, soldering, etching and a number of other things! I take my own product pictures and I also designed and maintain this website all while taking care of my beautiful 4 year old daughter and working a full time job. I’ve definitely got a lot on my shoulders, but…

I absolutely adore what I do. It is extremely humbling to me and I am so grateful to receive all the love, support and positive feedback on my work. People like you make all the effort worth it.

I love creating a powerful piece so that you may express yourself in a bold way. I like to think of my artwork not just as jewelry, but as wearable art. I gain inspiration from historic paintings, statues and depictions of ancient gods and goddesses, music & nature. I try to recreate a tangible piece of jewelry from these sources, while also maintaing my own inner creativity and drive. The body is a temple, and should be expressed as such! My passion is to help that “particular” person express themselves through the means of adorning the body in jewelry as an art form. Thank you so much, from my heart to yours, for visiting my website and taking an interest in what I have to offer!

Which metal should I choose?

Fine Silver - more pure than sterling silver, fine silver is 0.999 percent pure where sterling is 92.5 percent. Fine silver is softer than sterling, however is less prone to oxidation than sterling. This metal will not turn your skin any color.

Aluminum - The softest metal I offer, so care must be taken while wearing, but is a great and cheaper alternative to fine silver. Aluminum will never tarnish or turn your skin any colors.

Copper - Harder than the aluminum and fine silver, less prone to scratches than aluminum. Care must be taken to prevent excess moisture which can result in skin discoloration.

Brass - The strongest metal I offer and a good substitute for gold. Like copper, care must be taken to avoid skin discoloration.
