I grew up in Bulgaria and I was fascinated by the old and unique items that I came across as a child. I learned that both my great-grandparents were tailors and was greatly disappointed to learn that not a single piece of clothing was left from them. Most clothing they had before WWII was remade to fit my grandmother and her sister during and after the war, their toys were made of rags. The only vintage piece I had was my mom's princess coat from the 70s which she wore in high school and college, later on I did the same:) Coming to America I was assaulted by the sheer volume of vintage and antique clothing in relatively good and sometimes never worn condition. I fell in love with the elegance of Edwardian Age, the wildness of the 20s, Glamour of the 1930s and the sophistication of the 1950s. I started collecting various pieces of clothing and accessories and eventually created my own on-line store.
