This is such a cute little gift! I got it for a friend, who's favorite book is Little Women and she loves books and reading! It was absolutely perfect for her. I have no complaints about anything, it's just so cute and perfect for putting on a bookshelf or something!! Can't wait to give it to her on her birthday!!

A genuine map of the stars over a special place at a special time.
I'm so pleased with how the new floral card range turned out :)

About

Eco-friendly typographic art on vintage book pages

I use rescued books and sheet music, hand framed in eco-friendly wood. Bookishly’s signature ‘block frames’ are made locally by a small family business (my family!) and are nice and light for worldwide shipping. There is no glass so you can feel the lovely old pages. I am proud that the frames are all made by hand in Britain.

Bookishly has been going since 2009 and I have developed a range featuring old favourites like Oscar Wilde and Pride and Prejudice, as well as my unique ‘geek’ range using binary and mathematical equations, among many others. Each piece is printed onto an individual original book page, so you know your art will be unique.

I’ve had work featured in a number of national and international magazines and blogs, including Period House, Ideal Home and Scottish Homes and Interiors. I have lovely customers from all over the world, from Norway to New Zealand, Alaska to Ashby-de-la-Zouch!

I'm honoured that Etsy asked me about my experiences in their Quit Your Day Job blog here:

I like: cakes with more icing than cake, licking envelopes, John Hughes movies, the smell of old books and hoarding fabric that I will probably never use.
