My passion for music, dance and always dressing up as a celebrity for Halloween really inspired me to open this shop.

Let your inner Star shine thru!
Ever since I was a child I loved anything that had to do with dance or pop culture. Art class was always my favorite class in grammar school and I either was going to grow up to become a Solid Gold dancer or a famous rock star like Lita Ford! Obviously none of that happened lol.. God had a different plan for my life. Long story short; I had to get surgery at 17 years old and was bedridden for 6 months bored and depressed until I got a hold of my first fashion magazine and I became obsessed with Versace and the fashion world. As soon I was able to walk again I decided to go to school for fashion and get my degree in Fashion Design. In 2000, I was hired to design and create dance costumes and in 2001 I was hired to design and create a pair of pants for Steven Tyler of Aerosmith! So even though my dream of becoming a dancer or a famous rock star hadn't come true, I was now designing for dancers and rock stars which was even better!
In 2014, I was laid off from my full time job of 8.5 years at a scenery design company in Chicago so I decided to start my Etsy shop selling what I do best which is creating dance and pop star inspired costumes. I love dancing and dressing up especially dressing up for Halloween and now I would love to share that passion with you whether you are a professional dancer or artist looking to wear something special on stage or an everyday person like me that loves to play dress up whether it's for Halloween, Mardi Gras or whatever special event you have to attend :)
Everything is handmade by yours truly in my design studio but when it gets a bit overwhelming I have to 2 special ladies that come in and help me cut and sew.
I am really excited to have started this shop and I look forward to dressing you and making your inner star dreams come true
