I love this ring so much! Shipped in a timely manner, came in super cute wrappings and it’s exactly what I wanted! By far my favorite ring shop.

Megan’s art pieces are amazing. I’ve purchased several. She does undervalue herself however...her jewelry is worth far more than she charges, in my opinion. So nice to buy local art from an artist that’s so passionate about her work. I’m sure I’ll be buying more. Can’t resist.

About

Every item is made as a sort of tribute to all things earthy and magical.

Wander & Rain specializes in jewelry and curios which are deeply inspired by witches, fairytales, folklore, and forests!

Wander & Rain is entirely run by me, Missoula based artist Megan Haney.

Color & Texture are my most favorite aspects of art and there's no shortage of it in my wares. Cast resin stones are made to either feature a natural pop of color or made to imitate some of the earth's great semi precious stones. & My copper plating process is inventively calibrated to produce rustic crawling texture that is truly a feast for the eyes. Every item is made as a sort of tribute to all things earthy and magical.

When I am not creating in my bold-forest-mural-adorned studio; I am by the river, in the woods or in the mountains and I always have a bundle of fallen branches in my arms because sticks are my most favorite thing to collect and use in my work. I love experimenting and there's no shortage of possibilities with the techniques I use so I am quite content and excited to keep on growing.

Cat mom to 2 huge beautiful boys & plant mom to 27 plants and 10 rooting clippings. I adorn my home with branches and encourage my plant babies to grow in them. I wish to live in a forest and that goal is coming along nicely.

Frequently asked questions
Rings Cannot Be Resized

Due to the fact that the bands of all my rings are cast within layers of resin for durability, I do not resize. It is a grueling process that takes twice as much time as making the piece and can often destroy the original sought after look.

Please Measure Your Ring Size Before Purchase

It is the responsibility of the buyer to take the opportunity to measure for their ring size before purchasing.
Returns for sizing issues will only be accepted if the fault is mine.

How to Measure Ring Size

Cut a thin strip of paper and wrap the paper around your finger where you intend the ring to sit. Mark the spot where the paper meets. Lay flat to measure the distance with a ruler.

In millimeters here are the corresponding US ring sizes:

Size 3: 44.2mm

Size 3.5: 45.4mm

Size 4: 46.8mm

Size4.5: 48mm

Size 5: 49.3mm

Size 5.5: 50.6mm

Size 6: 51.8mm

Size 6.5: 53.1mm

Size 7: 54.4mm

Size 7.5: 55.7mm

Size 8: 56.9mm

Size 8.5: 58.2mm

Size 9: 59.5mm

Size 9.5: 60.8mm

Size 10: 62.1mm

Size 10.5: 63.3mm

Size 11: 64.6mm

Size 11.5: 65.9mm

Size 12: 67.2mm

Size 12.5: 68.4mm

Size 13: 69.7mm

Size 13.5: 71mm

Size 14: 72.3mm

Will Copper Pieces Tarnish or Discolor Skin?

It should be expected that copper jewelry cannot be permanently sealed no matter the maker. That being said I do use a seal meant to offset tarnish. What that means is that the overall look of the piece is unlikely to be compromised but over time it is likely that the coating in places that constantly touch the skin will wear. For example the inner band of rings is only expected to last 6 months to 1 year if worn daily because of moisture and friction where as the face of the ring is known to remain fresh for years. When coating wears it is gradual giving you time to reseal the worn areas with a bit of clear coat nail polish.

Custom Order Info, Pricing & Payment

Custom Order Ring Size Info

I am able to make sizes as small as size 2 and as large as size 15.
Because of the unique process half sizes are about as precise as I am able to accomplish, in other words I cannot do 6.25 but can definitely do 6 or 6.5.

Please utilize my sizing guide featured above to determine your ring size.
