My name is Betsy Beier, and I’m the author, illustrator and teacher behind Wanderlust Designer. If you’re here, I’m sure we share the same love for travel. We thrive on planning our next big adventure and discovering ways we can explore the world like locals. Once home, we love getting together with friends and family to share our travel stories, the foods we’ve tried, the characters we’ve met, the markets we’ve explored and the back roads we’ve wandered.

Having visited almost 40 countries and all 50 US states, and based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Betsy Beier’s experiences and artwork celebrate creative inspiration and wanderlust through places, people, food and cultures from around the world.

Built on a foundation of a BFA and MFA, her rich and diverse career has spanned from Art Director at creative firms and large corporations to writing and illustrations books and products, including licensing her illustrations for puzzles, home goods, calendars, cookbooks, and travel books.

Betsy’s passion for creativity and her sense of wanderlust is at its best when she is teaching and facilitating workshops and experiences that provide and inspire everyday creative adventures at home and abroad.
