It is beautiful, strong and perfect for my brushes. Good communication, well-wrapped and fast service. Highly recommended ☺

My painting companion will just love to have one of these also. No longer will we be fighting over unsuitable places to rest our brushes down on. Fantastic. Many thanks for everything!

More dark beads, slightly smaller than the other string purchased. These have a feint dark ribbon effect design running around them. Very pleased.

So pleased to have this. ALWAYS putting my brushes down where I shouldn't - but not anymore!

About

In love with ceramics

My workshop is called Sunflower Art. Generally I make handbuilt crockery, currently I'm trying wheel throwing. Sometimes I use glaze, but most of all I like milk firing, an old russian method of potery finishing, when fired ware is soaked in whole milk, dried and fired again to seal the porous surface. Cups and bowls become of chocolate colour with silky sheen and the surface feels soft and smooth. I prefer plumpy, soft forms and decorate my pieces with carved ethnic ornaments or textures, that is why things I make are so pleasant to touch I see my ceramics in comfy summer houses and kitchens in the hands of people who take their time enjoying their tea, who choose by heart.

I also make beads and pendants - mostly of milk firing, but sometimes glazed, too. They are perfect for fashion jewellery making in ethno and boho style, go together with wood, glass, feathers, pips and seeds.

Most of my pieses have been made by just me, but sometimes I work together with my friend Alexandra Luki, an artist, and my husband Michael Pavlov.
