We are two San Diego sisters, born and raised in Southern California, who work both together and separately to create jewelry. We are 16 months apart in age, both married and have children. In general our artistic tastes run similarly, but our 'wild' streaks are very different. We like this because we feel our pieces can appeal to a broader range of customer tastes.

As for our creativity: Some pieces are completely new while others are re-purposed parts and pieces. Sandi also works on shell-art frames and home decor. Sandi is a right-brained southpaw so I guess that makes Patti is a left-brained northpaw. Sometimes one of us will get creatively stuck on completing a piece so we consult the other and the solution comes easily. We find that we can finish each others pieces much like we used to finish each others sentences when younger.

Patti is working full-time, utilizing her hard-earned Masters in Human Resources. Sandi counsels/mentors high school exchange students while their here for a 10-month education experience. Because Sandi's hours are so flexible she tends to run the business side of WarmSands, allowing Patti to focus on being creative in the little spare time she has. We are both married and each have 18 year old sons who are completing their first year of college. Patti also has a 23 year old son who recently graduated from Baking/Pastry School.

Our faith and our family are very important to us. Patti and I became Christians in our teens and sharing the bond found in our faith is comforting many times. Our spouses and children are saved and our hearts rejoice in that knowledge. Attending church and serving in ministries is an expression of our joy in the Lord's gift of salvation. We honor Him in all that we do in life and in work.
