5 out of 5 starsI absolutely love these giant kimono silk scrunchies. They're gorgeous and they keep the hair really safe and prevent snags and damage that can be caused even by 'snag-free' hair ties that are made of nylon or plastic. I have very fine-textured, soft hair, but heaps and heaps of it. Regular sized scrunchies just don't keep my hair in place when I'm doing yoga or using my stationery bike, but these always do, and without making me feel like I'm having to twist my hair so tightly that it will rip out by the roots. Highly recommended.

Hello, thanks for visiting my Etsy shop ‘WaToYo’. I’m originally from Japan and I’m now living in the UK.
I inherited vintage kimonos from my grandmother and friends and started wearing them. Kimono fabrics are beautifully crafted and I fell in love with them. Unfortunately, many vintage kimonos have been neglected in Japan because the younger generations don’t wear them very often anymore. I’ve started creating wearable items and home decor using vintage kimono fabrics to introduce their beauty to people all over the world. That’s how WaToYo was started.
WaToYo means ‘Japanese and Western’ in Japanese. I want to create mixed styles using Japanese vintage kimono fabrics or Japanese craft techniques. I hope you like my creations. Thanks!
