We focus on small batch production. Our name is inspired by a deep LOVE for the SEA. We are passionate about handcrafting quality, natural and eco-friendly products. 

Wax Coast Candles was founded by Michelle in 2015. What began as a hobby later turned into a small business. After a lot of trial and error and using family and friends as guinea pigs for her candle making obsession, Michelle's mama talked her into doing craft fairs. With much success, one night over dinner at the Macaroni Grill while sipping on a glass of her favorite bubbly, Michelle shared with her husband her vision of opening up her own candle shop. With his support they started throwing around names and with the gentle push from her mama to take this hobby and do something BIGGER, a name was decided and that is how  -- Wax Coast Candles came to be.

Michelle is a lover of coffee, tea, lighthouses and the sea. A Business Systems Analyst by day and Candle Executive Officer (CEO) by night. She resides in Northern California with her husband, their 14 year old son and their two dogs Stella & Beau, who both have namesakes from the Dave Matthews Band!! She loves music, classic cars and might be a little obsessed with the show Fixer Upper on HGTV!

All of our candles are hand poured with LOVE in Northern California. They are created using 100% American grown soy wax, phthalate free fragrance oils and cotton core wicks that are lead and zinc free. Each candle is poured into a reusable glass jar and provides a clean burn. No additives or dyes are used in our products. We pour in small batches to ensure we are giving each candle extra attention to detail.
