Wayfarer (previously as MT. MAMA) was based in Singapore and established out of a city-center workshop back in 2014. Due to relocation and professional practice last summer, MT. MAMA has been on hiatus for a year and has now returned as Wayfarer Workshop in the baddest city, Amsterdam.

Wayfarer can mean anything from a traveler or hiker to nomad or drifter. Our brand was born out of the fact that we value journeys that one takes, for life is not a destination. We want to "carry journeys forward".

Consequently, the designs we come up with not just have multiple functions and extremely utilitarian, they're minimalistic yet comes with a sense of rawness and never goes out of fashion. As a one-man operation, Wayfarer brings a careful and intimate touch to each creation. Learning from every travel experiences, we spot what is lacking in those experiences and incorporate them into our designs, using only genuine leather to bring about functionality enhancement and durability. Wayfarer is inspired by the jet-setters' or adventurers' lifestyle, so it's only natural that want our goods to bring convenience during travels and explorations whether one is in a city or the wilderness. Most importantly, whether its a travel wallet or notebook case, we want them to journey with you, wherever you are. Take care of it and it will take care of you.

(Wayfarer is finally back after a-year-long hiatus! So bear with us, we're still going through a rebranding phase!) The Wayfarer Workshop is a one-man operation based in Amsterdam. Wayfarer specializes in utilitarian handmade leather goods that aims to bring convenience to people, from your everyday commute to long-distance travels.

The philosophy of Wayfarer is based very much on the idea on the "stillness during a state of moving". Wayfarer goods must go far and beyond and stay long, durable and close to you — our Wayfarers (users) — wherever you may be.

I, still travel very often for my professional work as a visual artist-independent researcher. I get my inspiration from brands like, Filson, Bellroy, Will Leather Goods and also beautifully curated online store like Huckberry. Therefore, I tend to pay special attention to the needs of today's forever-moving-people and adventurers.

Although Wayfarer is current a one-man operation (as mentioned before), we are already in the midst of working with another leather design specialist from Budapest.

Returns and exchanges
If item purchased is beyond actual usability or functionality, e.g. an electronic devices not fitting a sleeve, thread coming loose, or falling off button, please contact us.

In the event that it should be returned with no exchanged, Wayfarer will only refund 50% of your shipping fee and 50% of the actual cost of item you ordered.

For the reason stated above (if item purchased is beyond actual usability or functionality), and you wish to make an exchange of the same item, no refunds will be made on the cost of the item(s), however, we will bare 40% of your shipment back to our workshop for the exchange. If you wish to exchange the item for other items in the shop, you can choose more than one item as long as it does not exceed the original amount of the item you bought initially – in that case, no refunds will be made for the shipment back to our workshop.

Please send us an email labeling one of the two: [Return – item you bought] OR [Exchange – item you bought (to another item in store)] to wayfarerworkshop [at] gmail.com no longer than 3 days after receiving ordered good(s). No exchange or returns will be entertain after the 3rd day of receiving good(s).

All refunds will be made via PayPal after the item has arrived back at our workshop, (if you wish to make an exchange). We DO NOT issue refund for items we have already posted out regardless if you (the buyer) receive or not, as we only post under registered mail, it is almost unlikely you do not receive what you bought.
Wayfarer accepts PayPal and most major credit cards (VISA, Master Card & American Express). ApplePay is also possible now. If you're ordering from the Netherlands, iDeal is also possible.

Typically, it can take between 3-5 business days for me to finish making an item after receiving payment. For PayPal payments, please allow up to 7 business days for PayPal to process the payment. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellation must be made within 3 days from the ordering date. 70% of the total paid will be refunded to you. Any cancellation request after the 2 days, only 30% of the total paid can be refunded.

All refund transactions will be made via PayPal.
Wayfarer ships with normal postage and with an upgraded option for registered mail. If you purchased the registered mail upgrade, a tracking number will be sent to you along with the dispatch notification via Etsy.

After dispatch notice is sent, we will not be responsible for any lost packages. If that should happen, contact should be made with the shipping company with the tracking code.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders based on original items in store will naturally cost 15-25% more depending on various factors: any new and/or additional materials, more leather, etc.
