Welcome to the Wearable Art Emporium!
For those of you who know me from my classes, welcome back. To those who don’t…just a little bit about who I am. I have had a love affair with fiber since I was a very young girl. I began to knit and crochet at an early age and when I was about 12 years old, I began incorporating beads into my work and the result was my ongoing love of bead crochet.
Much to my dismay, I couldn’t find any books that taught me how to change yarn in the middle of a project, so that became my first challenge. I also found a lack of patterns, and since I’m a big fan of playing with colors in my work, as well as dimensionality, I start designing the patterns that would work best for the pieces I wanted to design. The result was my book, Bead Crochet Jewelry and the many articles I wrote for Bead and Button Magazine. I also began teaching classes, at which many of my students fell in love with the patterns, and began asking for more! So, I designed a multitude of patterns, and am now offering them to you – new customers and returnees!
I will be posting more new patterns routinely along with a limited number of kits, and instructions for some of my techniques for changing yarn and the invisible join. .
Although patterns are for bracelets and bangles, you may want to experiment with turning them into necklaces (just keep going), or lariats, etc. Blend more than one pattern into a piece if you like.
And please, feel free to email me at WearableArtEmporium [!at] gmail.com with any special requests for patterns you would like to see designed, and I will try to honor those requests.
I hope you love creating and wearing the jewelry you create using my patterns. Please visit us often.

5 out of 5 starsCan't wait to try this pattern! I love the look of it and have been looking for the pattern for some time when I saw it on the cover of a book, but no pattern was included. Finally found it! Thank you.

5 out of 5 starsAmazingly written pattern. It is written down or as chart. Easy to follow. It does require some knowledge of knitting but that is stated already in the description before you buy it. If there is a question that requires help with the pattern, the shop owner responds fast and is extremely helpful and kind. I will definitely be buying more patterns once I finish the once I have already. These pieces of art are worth the money !

5 out of 5 starsExcellent pattern, very easy to read chart. This seems to be a perfect difficulty level for a new(ish) lace knitter like myself.

5 out of 5 starsThis item is beautiful, and I’m looking forward to making it. I saw it on Ravelry, but it was no longer listed on her website. She was very responsive and gracious in relisting the pattern for me to purchase. Kudos to Linda!

I love creating patterns in a variety of medium, including both beads and yarn, and sometimes, mixing the two. I have taught nationally, at various Bead Conventions, Guilds in addition to the Smithsonian. I have written a book on Bead Crochet.
