5 out of 5 starsThis is exactly what I was looking for. Irish dance costumes look like these and with a little tweaking, I'll be able to create a gorgeous costume for my little dancer. The handwritten thank you card was a special touch.

I love finding, preserving, collecting and creating with sewing patterns. They show the fashion from each era and create unique beautiful clothing. In addition to sewing, I'm a dancer, collegiate shag instructor, linguist, traveller and animal lover.

Frequently asked questions
Pattern storage
Patterns are currently in a smoke-free home in special, close storage containers.
Vintage patterns that are in a more delicate state are stored and shipped in an archival-safe plastic storage bag. All patterns are carefully counted and cared for. If you would like your pattern shipped in a pattern bag and do not see that option (for example modern patterns), feel free to message me.
Pattern condition
I take special care to count all pattern pieces and put the pattern in its best possible condition before listing on Weartothedance. Any tears or re-made pattern pieces, or any other issue, is clearly listed in the item description. Pieces are carefully smoothed and refolded on original fold lines when possible. Uncut pattern in factory folds are not opened to preserve the factoryfolded state.
Patterns are vintage and previously owned, many have been made, so most show signs of age and use. Think of these as marks of love for the creation of unique, individualized fashion!
Do you have a pattern that is.....
Maybe! I have many patterns that need to be checked for completeness, or that haven't been listed yet. Message me your size, a pattern number, or a decade/style and I will send a few photos for your review. I love patterns and love sharing them with others.
