"W.E.B..A" - "Whole Earth Body Actives"

The idea for "WEBA" evolved over time while Lydia worked as a Social Worker and met her partner. Marvin had been an entrepreneur for 40 years, which inspired her to start her dream business. Lydia discovered that she really enjoyed creating things with her hands. Having taught herself to knit and sew, and being unhappy with the skincare products on the market, she was inspired to make her own soap. Letting herself go creatively made her feel most alive. So she began making soaps and lotions that nourished her sensitive skin, and began sharing them with family and friends. What helped was having Marvin's support and assistance.

WEBA stands for "Whole Earth Body Actives", which expresses Lydia's philosophy. No synthetic ingredients or harmful chemicals are used. All products are palm-oil free because of the impact of deforestation on the Malaysian Orangutans. Lydia makes the "trip" to her workshop upstairs, knowing that she is creating not just a product, but an expression of her values, a statement, a viewpoint. It respects that land, the creatures who inhabit it, and the raw materials used to create a vision. She is loving the path that she is on.

Welcome to WEBA Natural Products! We make our products by hand in small batches in the Hudson Valley, and take great care and pride in what we do. Everything about our products must be kind to people, animals, and the earth. Our products contain no synthetics or animal ingredients. Some of our raw materials, labels, and packaging are sourced in the U.S.A., and others materials, due to a lack of availability, are sourced from Europe, Africa, India, and other countries. No products are tested on animals; we are happy to test our products on ourselves! Our dog, Millie, loves to use our soap, too, though.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
We will accept returns on products that remain wrapped (e.g. bar soaps) or that have a protective seal (e.g. body balms, sugar scrubs). If any products have been opened, then they cannot be refunded or returned for health and hygiene reasons. For international buyers, they have 14 days from the date of receipt of these items to return them if they remain unopened. I am dedicated to making sure that you are happy with your purchase. If a package arrives damaged due to our negligence, a replacement product will be sent upon prompt notification by the buyer. If a package fails to arrive (in the US), please notify us and I will do my best to track its whereabouts and get it to you. I can email proof of mailing to international customers. Please e-mail me at webanaturalproducts [!at] yahoo.com if your package does not arrive, and we can discuss how to best resolve the issue.

If you are in any way unsatisfied with any of our products, please complete the contact form and we will discuss the issue with you. Your feedback and suggestions are very important to me.
Payment
We accept credit cards through Etsy. If you prefer to call in an order, please feel free to call us tool-free at 1-800-964-4125 and we can take your credit card information over the phone. We do not accept check payments, bank transfers, or money orders. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars.
Shipping
// SHIPPING ADDRESS //
Orders will be shipped to the address specified on your Etsy invoice. If you have special shipping instructions, please be sure to include the information in the Note To Seller when you make your purchase.

// USA SHIPPING //
All orders ship via USPS First Class or Flat Rate Priority Mail (depending on weight of the package) and will be mailed no more than 3 business days after payment has been received, unless and extended lead time is otherwise noted in the description under the item that you are purchasing. Small orders or 1-2 items will not be insured. During the winter months, lead times may be extended due to inclement weather, closings, etc. If this happens, you will be notified via email.

// INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING //
Please note that international shipments (including Canada) typically take 10-14 business days to arrive. Lead times vary depending upon country being shipped to. If you wish to have your item sent via Express Mail, it will cost you more for shipping.

There is no tracking information available when mailing packages internationally. Customers are responsible for any local fees, duties, taxes or brokerage charges that may be incurred on your package upon its arrival in your country. Please inquire with your local post office to find out the fees associated with your order prior to purchasing from WEBA Natural Products. If for any reason you do not claim or are unable to claim your package from Customs I will not issue a refund.

If you are interested in creating a custom gift box for a special occasion, please contact us and we will be happy to respond and discuss what items you would like to include in your custom box. We can also include a gift card.

// WHOLESALE //
Wholesale inquiries from brick & mortar retail shops are welcome! Lead time for receiving your wholesale order is currently 2 weeks from the date your order is placed. Please sign in to our Wholesale account on Etsy as a vendor for a listing of our available products.

Alternatively, use the Contact form to inform us of your interest, with information about the location of your store and a link to your shop's website. We will be happy to send you our price sheets and discuss terms with you. We do not work on consignment at this time.
