5 out of 5 starsThis is such a beautiful new addition to my kitchen. I leave it on the windowsill because it is too pretty to hide in a cabinet. Thank you for the careful and quick shipping. I will enjoy using this Suribachi for many years to come!

4 out of 5 starsThe mug was exactly as I had hoped! It was a 30th birthday present & the receiver loved it. They had been on the hunt for a “bright yellow hand made mug with a white strip at the top” after having broken the original that held sentimal value. When I stumbled upon this I knew it was meant to be! Thank you for creating a special moment. Unfortunately the handwritten address on the packaged differed from the address entered when ordered, which led to me thinking I had lost the package for a sad few days. Luckily - it ended up turning up!

4 out of 5 starsBeautiful piece but not as functional as I would have liked. When I tried to mash a bit of fruit bits of pottery would come loose from the grooves. Any suggestions?

Handmade Stoneware and Porcelain
Originally from Montreal, I relocated to the Gulf Coast region of the USA in 2000, where I currently share a studio with Lowell Webb. The studio is just east of Mobile Bay and 20 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico.
Mostly self-taught, the majority of my work is formed on the potter's wheel. I make functional decorative pottery from stoneware and porcelain, featuring stylized brushwork and carved sgraffito design, all fired to approximately 2350 Fahrenheit (cone 10/high fired). Design inspiration comes from nature, and life here around my studio here on Alabama’s Gulf Coast.
I pot full time and my work is available at regional art shows, galleries, out of my studio showroom, and online.

Returns and exchanges
Please notify me within 3 days of receipt of the item. Take photos of the work and all packing materials. Retain all if the packing materials. We make every effort to pack our pottery according to UPS/USPS outlined standards, to ensure not only that it reaches its destination safely but, in the event that breakage does happen, that UPS /USPS will honor the claim.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, it can be returned within 14 days for a refund (less shipping), once the item has been returned in its original and intact condition. Buyer will be responsible for return shipping. We will gladly exchange the item for another of equal value. Unusual circumstances will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

Payment
Payment is due within 7 days of purchase.
Shipping
USPS: We will usually ship USPS Priority Post for smaller items, and will get delivery confirmation and insurance.
International orders also sent regular post because of the unreasonably high brokerage fees various courier companies choose to subject buyers too. No insurance is available this way, but we try our best to pack WELL.
UPS:
We choose to ship via UPS Ground (insurance included) especially for larger pieces and raku.
Item will be shipped once payment has cleared on the Seller's end. If shipping ends up being less than the price I have quoted, I will gladly reimburse the difference.
Extra Packaging Required: We make every attempt to make sure that pottery reaches its destination intact so we usually double box pots for shipping and add a healthy amount of extra packing material to properly protect it. So far we have had an excellent record.
Yes, I will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
LOCAL PICK UP
Please let me know via a "convo" or email if you would like to purchase an item here but plan on picking it up locally and I will adjust the shipping price or reimburse you the shipping charges.
