Wedded Silhouettes team works hard to make customer service our top priority. This means we do whatever it takes to guarantee your experience with us is one to remember.
At this time we do not accept returns or exchanges due to the custom and labor intensive nature of our work - most items are made to order.

Sometimes, despite our best intentions, things may not work out. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please email us at info [!at] lepapierstudio.com within 3 business days of receiving the package, and we will try to accommodate you.

International Orders

We love shipping our products to people all around the world. Because of the time and cost associated with shipping our products internationally, all international orders are final sale. Many countries collect customs/duty fees for international purchases, so please review your country's international customs policies as we are unaware and are not responsible for the payment of those duties and fees.

Payment is accepted via Paypal (which includes Visa, Mastercard, Amex) as well as Etsy Direct Checkout Credit Card processing system.

Payment is expected within 24 hours of purchase unless you contact us first.
All Illinois orders are subject to sale's tax of 10%

We are away on a short winter break enjoying the holidays and our loved ones. All orders between December 15, 2014 and January 3, 2015 will be worked on and shipped upon our return. Thank you for your support and patience!

PRODUCTION TIME:
To find out crafting/production time for each product, please check the item description of that particular product. Almost everything in our shop is hand made at the time an order is placed. Please allow 7-10 business days for non-custom orders to be ready to ship from our studio.
*Custom items may take up to 3 weeks.
We strongly encourage you to read through the item details to find out how long it will take us to craft the piece or prepare your order for shipment before you place the order.

SHIPPING TIME:
Please refer to this section prior to placing an order so that you have a clear picture of how long it will take for your item to arrive. Shipping times vary from product to product. Please also refer to the description on each product for an accurate time-frame.

DOMESTIC/US SHIPPING.:
We ship via Priority Mail or First Class Mail. Shipping time is about 3-5 days, once your piece is ready to leave the studio. Add this shipping time to the in-house processing time for your piece, and you will have an estimate of when you will receive your order.
*If a Proof is requested, we will email it to you within 5-7 business days from the time the purchase and all order details are received.
** If you request a Next Day or Second Day shipping, this will be available starting at $20 (depending on the product, weight and size) and insured up to $500. You need to contact us before you place an order and we will charge you accordingly.
*** Expedited Service - We can expedite your order (which means we work on it right away and ship out the next business day) for $25. Please let us know if you are interested on this service prior to placing an order with us. Please know Expedited Service is not Overnight or Express shipping and can only apply to paper goods (fine art prints and stationery!)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
We ship all International Orders via First Class Mail International Package Service. This is the most economical method to ship your order assuring safe delivery.
The common transit time for International deliveries is about 3-4 weeks, however shipping times can vary according on your location (the busy time of year, your local postal service regulations as well as customs at the border can cause more delays). Please know that some locations can take up to 5-7 weeks for delivery.
NOTE: We are NOT able to give you an exact delivery date nor can we promise that your package will arrive by a certain day, as there are no guarantees made by the postal service.
TRACKING INFORMATION ALTHOUGH AVAILABLE IS NOT ACCURATE FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS.
*WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS for any international shipments that are lost in transit or do not arrive by the date of your event.
** We recommend FedEx International (Express) if you need to rush your shipment. Please contact us for details.
More often than not, international deliveries are held at the local post office for pickup, so PLEASE be sure to check there if you are waiting on your order. Additional customs charges, fees or taxes may be due when you receive your package. These charges are your responsibility and are decided by the country of your residence. These charges are NOT included in the price of shipping. No refunds will be given to cover these charges. The shipping charges you paid at the time of your purchase are those charged to us by the USPS, not your country of residence.

PACKAGING & GIFT WRAP
We make sure that your order is neatly and safely packaged. Your order will come in a padded mailer with a protective backing to prevent bending along its travels. If for some reason, your order has been damaged along the way, please contact me ASAP. Although I am not responsible for damages made by USPS I will be more than happy to accommodate any reasonable requests.
We are happy to send your item as a gift and will include a gift note with the order. Please specify this in the "message" box during the Etsy checkout process so that your recipient will know it's from you!

DIGITAL PROOFS:
Any custom silhouette orders will receive one digital proof. Additional proofs are available at an extra fee of $8 per proof. Items that request custom monograms or personalization (such as stationery, prints, trays or jewelry that do not require custom silhouettes) will NOT receive a proof unless you request one before placing an order. These proofs are available upon request at $8 per item.

*CREATING A SILHOUETTE FROM A PICTURE:
Here are some tips for taking pictures of your loved one that will set the stage for creating the most elegant keepsake silhouettes. Place the subject in front of a well lit background, facing either left or right.

1. A relaxed face helps to show the features (eyelashes, nose, lips) correctly.

2. If photographing more than one person, please take individual pictures.

3. Take the picture straight on at eye level. For best results, stand six feet away from the subject.

4. If your subject has long hair (past their neckline) put it up. Ponytails, braids, messy buns, make sure silhouettes.

5. If you are interested in full body silhouettes, take a picture of the subject standing up, walking towards or away from the camera (these make great silhouettes for out forest theme illustration prints)

All designs, photographs and shop contents are copyrighted by Le Papier Studio LTD (our main company!) and protected by the copyright law. Copyrights DO NOT transfer with purchase of a piece. Please do not copy, print or reproduce any of our products without our permission to do so. We reserve the right to reuse all custom silhouettes we create either for resale or advertising. Under no circumstance will we sell any personal information to a third party.
