Nature Inspired Art

I've always enjoyed making things out of bits and bobs, and take my inspiration from nature. I've been working with clay for about two years locally in Wilmington, NC. The ocean is my strongest inspiration, with browns, blues, and greens being featured in the glazes I work with. My goals for this year are to learn the ins and outs of teapot construction, and to try out pit firing.
*I reuse packing materials whenever possible, so the space fillers may consist of crumpled up newspaper, boxes, magazines, bubble wrap, or anything else I have on hand. I would rather not buy more plastic and add it to the problem just to ship something, so I appreciate your understanding in advance! Also, see if you can recycle the packing materials, or just reuse them again, and send them on their way.

I've been playing with mud for about 5 years now, there is so much involved, it would take a lifetime to master. Glazing is my favorite part of the process; it really brings life to the piece. So much to do, so little time!

If your piece arrives broken, contact me immediately. Each package automatically comes with insurance. I will ask you for documentation of the breakage and condition of the box, and we will go from there.
