We're so excited to announce our first public venue that we can barely hold ourselves together! Come visit Lisa and Sophia next Saturday at the Elora Farmers' Market to pick up your Wellie {ORGANIC BEESWAX FOOD WRAP}.
No charcuterie board is complete without our Wellies beeswax wraps.
It's picnic weather! We've been busy in the shop putting together some more WELLIES Lunch Packs. Reusable, biodegradable food wraps are picnic perfect.

Reusable food wraps - We're wrap artists over here!

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by.

Wellie + Co. is just getting started, but I think my handmade beeswax wraps are pretty special - and worth sharing. I make each wrap from scratch in my kitchen in Kitchener using a local source for beeswax. Wellies start with 100% (certified) organic cotton, then are infused with a mixture of wax, pine rosin and jojoba oil.

I've been so excited by the positive feedback that I dug out my sewing machine and created beeswax bags! They come in three convenient sizes and are perfect in lunch bags and for storing produce in the fridge. They're quickly becoming a fan favourite!

This is the most fun I've ever had! It's the perfect marriage of proactive sustainability practices + entrepreneurship + connecting with community. Welcome to Wellie & Co.!

Frequently asked questions
How long will my Wellie last?

A year is about the life expectancy of our Wellies, depending on frequency of use, of course. Once the wrap no longer has tack, it can be discarded onto your compost heap.

How do I care for my Wellie?

Heat is a Wellie's enemy so rinse it with warm water (and a mild detergent if needed). Beeswax, rosin and jojoba oil all have anti bacterial properties to help keep your Wellie safe.

What can I wrap in my Wellie?

Wellies are meant to replace plastic wrap so anything that you use plastic for, can be wrapped in a Wellie. Sandwiches, cheese, fruit, cookies, crackers the list goes on. Try to avoid uncooked meats or seafood - glass containers are best for those!
