We are second generation jewelers with a passion for baubles and color!
Every piece you see here is meticulously carved in wax, expertly cast in many types of metals, and finished to fine jewelry standards. There is no mass production, stamping, or glue assembly. You'll receive a solid, perfectly boxed, lovingly finished heirloom piece when you order from us.
Our diamonds are sourced from conflict free mines and/or repurposed from previous pieces. This puts less of a demand on the mining, cutting, and conflict areas of the world's markets. We also offer diamond alternatives, such as- Moissanite, precious gems from around the world, and semi-precious minerals. These are mostly sourced through Stuller, Inc, a dedicated conflict-free gemstone wholesaler, as well as a few other carefully selected suppliers.
Our gold and silver is also repurposed- all cast from refined bullion and refined used jewelry. We re-alloy the pure metals and cast it ourselves.
Our gold & platinum has a 15 year limited warranty on the settings and strength, providing you have it checked every 6 months by a jeweler and perform routine maintenance.
Our silver has a 3 year warranty, with the same provisions as above.

Family team of jewelry makers.
We are second generation jewelers who built the business with our parents from the ground up. Many of the techniques and methods that we use, however, have been learned on our own within the past decade or so. Jason learned basic casting and molding technique from Emily’s dad and has now added laser welding, vacuum casting, plating, and enameling to his repertoire of knowledge. We all learn together on a daily basis. We’re also bringing the third generation of Wexford Jewelers to the store now and then- our own sons and daughters that polish the cases, sort gemstones, and learn about the trade.
Want to know where we got this awesome stuff? We make it. Every single piece that you see on this website is crafted by us. Save for the vintage collection, which have been modeled from antique items, every item was hand carved and designed by us.
The gemstones come from the entire world, literally. We try to mention a source when we know it, but there are mines dotting the entire planet that produce a multitude of colors, effects, textures, metals, and minerals. We shop gem trade shows when we can, finding parcel deals and hand-selecting unique pieces of the earth’s mineral store for you. We also have a few independent suppliers that travel through the region once or twice a year, and we have catalog suppliers for things like calibrated gemstones and findings.

Julie Terwilliger (Roncari) Has been designing, sculpting, and generally putting creative talents to use since the age of 12. Currently making much of the custom request items, she's also an incredible singer and musical artist. Married with one son.

Jason Nichols may have married into the business, but he's been the backbone of our metal working for years. He casts (this is the process that turns Sarah & Julie's carvings into metal), makes molds, does metal finishing, welding, and soldering.

We are a small family business that is passionate about design. We use nearly all post-consumer metals for our casting process, mostly re-purposed diamonds, and give 10% of every dollar we earn to charities in our area and around the world.

Returns and exchanges
If you aren’t happy, we aren’t happy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of purchase.* We will credit your original method of payment, for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping, handling, Etsy fees or other additional charges or services (sizing etc.).
*Custom designed merchandise and items engraved with personalized information cannot be returned or exchanged. Any amount purchased with a Wexford Jewelers gift card cannot be refunded and will be applied back to a gift card for future use.
Returns by Mail
Here are the basic steps:
If there is damage or defect to an item upon delivery, please call our store immediately 231.775.1289 for assistance.
Please read the information on your original receipt.
Pack the item securely. Use the original package, if possible. Enclose the original or a copy of the receipt.
If you do not have your original receipt, please provide us with your name, address, phone number, email address, and order number.
All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
For your protection, we recommend that you use FedEx, UPS or Insured Parcel Post for your return. Ship the return package to the address indicated on the packing slip: Wexford J

Keep the Return Tracking Number from the package you are returning to ensure that the package arrives at the above stated address.
You can expect a refund within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Refund will be credited to the same form of payment used in your original purchase.

Your packing slip must accompany your return.
All returns are subject to inspection before a refund is processed.
We will credit your original method of payment excluding delivery charges within 3 weeks of receiving your return.
Wexford Jewelers is not responsible for merchandise that it does not receive or that is not returned in accordance with these terms.
Sizing: You must be measured by a professional jeweler or use one of our complimentary sizing kits. Using online print out charts or string measurements are extremely inaccurate and will lead to paying for a second sizing. If you are unsure of your size, please let us know right away and we can hold your order until you have been accurately sized. Once we've sized the piece, if it requires a second sizing, it will be subject to a sizing fee per ring, plus shipping.
Exchanges: outright sales- 30 days once you have received the piece, exchange can be for a different size or another item from our etsy shop or our website. In the event that nothing works, we will be happy to issue a gift certificate.
Damage: Jewelry, while meant to be worn, is also art. It is not meant to be smashed into concrete or repeatedly hit on the side of your washing machine. Please treat jewelry with care. We warranty the stone settings for one year in silver, five years in gold. If, however, we determine that heavy wear is happening, we reserve the right to void the warranty. If your band breaks from some sort of casting defect, you will receive either an expert repair (shipping on us, of course!) or a replacement. However, if your band breaks because you smushed the ring after a fight, then tried to straighten the ring out with channel locks, we cannot warranty that. Yes, the aforementioned situation has happened.

Shipping
International shipping is awesome, some countries are a bit new to our roster but are always welcome! Duties are your responsibility, we will always claim a low value so that you are not stuck with high duties on your end.
Additional policies and FAQs
Guarantees: We guarantee that all stones seen on my site are genuine, ethically sourced to the best of our knowledge, and set to the exacting standards we hold ourselves to. All metals are real: eg, sterling silver is exactly 92.5% silver- we know because we alloy it ourselves!
We can guarantee that each and every item you see here is made by us, in our little Michigan foundry. We do not use standard industry molds or take models from other artists work- except a few antique pieces that we re-create to keep the designs alive!
We are not a 'component jeweler'- one who orders parts from a catalog and assembles them into cookie cutter items. We actually sit at a desk day after day and sculpt wax that is then hand cast into the pieces you see here. If you are ever in the Northern Michigan area, we would be delighted to give you a tour of the shop!
Layaway Terms: Now offering short terms: 1/3 down and up to 3 months, no interest.
Finish: Blackening finish is a novelty and there is no guarantee. Rhodium plating is recommended for anyone with sensitive skin.
Custom: We can certainly customize pieces to your desired specifications and/or for your gem(s). Please note listing prices are no indication of how much a custom version will cost. Email for a custom quote.
Raw/rough Gems: Due to their fragile nature and delicate crystal structure, any unpolished/un-faceted gem cannot be warrantied. As a novelty item, raw/rough gems are not recommended for everyday wear, wear at your own risk.
