I had a custom project request to make half of an embosser (one side debossed, the other side blank). I didn't want my logo to appear on the front side of my cardstock art prints, only the back. I, of course, happily paid full price for it. Even though it obviously doesn't make an impression as well as a fully equipped embosser, it leaves just enough for a 'watermark' depression on the back of my prints. It's EXACTLY what I wanted and I'm so grateful to Amy for working with me and making this accommodation happen, when other mainstream companies would not. I plan to buy more plates in the future when these eventually wear down.
