Every buyer is very important to What a Novel Idea and I want each customer to be completely satisfied. If you have any questions please contact me through Etsy and I'll do all I can to make your purchasing experience a good one!

I accept Paypal and now accept credit cards through Etsy's direct checkout system.
Personal cheques are also an option. Please contact me if you plan on using this method of payment.
All duties and taxes applicable to buyer's place of residence must be paid by buyer.
Please note that coupon codes should not be used for customized items as the price given is specific for the supplies and amount of work needed to create your piece.
Please note that Pinterest and similar web sites often display past sales. The price displayed on Etsy at the time of purchase is the price for the item.
I send everything by regular air mail. Delivery is usually 7-10 business days for Canada and The US. There will not be a tracking number in order to keep shipping costs low. If you require a tracking number please convo me with your request. Buyer will pay the increased cost for tracking which requires an upgrade to expedited post.
International (excluding the US) delivery times vary but most shipments outside of Canada arrive in approx. 14-20 days. Once again, Canada Post does not supply a tracking number for regular air mail outside of Canada.
Orders are normally mailed within 1-3 business days from purchase. During busier times such as Christmas the number of days may increase.
Please be sure your mailing address is correct on your Etsy account. If the address is incorrect and the item is returned to What A Novel Idea, buyer will pay postage to have the item mailed to the proper address.
Expedited shipping is available if you have a rush order. Please convo me for the rates to your destination.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unsatisfied with your product it may be returned within two weeks of delivery for a full refund. Item must be returned in its original condition. Buyer must pay return postage.
In the rare instance where the item is damaged or lost in the post, a replacement or refund will be issued depending on the circumstances of that particular transaction.

I do accept ideas for custom orders. Please get in touch with me for a detailed description of what you would like. In some cases an additional fee will apply. This fee will be discussed with the buyer beforehand.
