About

Crafting creatures as they are imagined

In May of 2011, I could think of nothing else but monstrous creatures. I took a break from the ethnographic poetics project I was working on, gathered supplies from my stash to re-purpose, and I sewed the first three monsters, the upcycled monsters. I was hooked. Now, I'm always collecting trinkets and ideas for the monsters' future. I sew my way through life events; sewing helps me process and engage. Sewing is self-care!

Shop policies

Welcome to my shop! All items are handmade by me. My goal is to provide you with a unique item that you will love. I do accept custom orders; start a conversation with me if you are interested in designing your own monster plush!

My monster plushes are intended for a like-minded audience: adults who are young at heart! My monster plushies are hand-sewn, and they include small parts. Most of the plush monsters in my shop are not intended for small children. If you are buying for a child, please Convo me and we can discuss ways to make the plushes safer for children. I aim to be clear up front about the features of each monster that would not be safe for children.
