Stunning wedding crown. Guests wanted to know where it was from and who was the designer. Complemented my outfit perfectly. Delicate flowers and gem details are the ideal way to dress up any outfit. Highly recommend the craftmanship. Paired the crown with a Monique Lhuillier Platinum Wedding Gown.

About

What Katy Did Next is a Bridal Headwear label based in North East England run by me, Katy! I specialise in creating pieces for the truly individual bride with a passion for accessories, a love of fashion and a desire for something completely handmade and unique.

I have been decorating brides since my first collection launched in 2011 after graduating from my University course in Textiles & Surface Design. I gather inspiration from my interest in historical costume, vintage film, and love to combine the delicate texture found in nature’s flora and fauna with my love of modern metallics.

When creating a new collection I rarely sketch out my designs, choosing instead to grasp onto a flourishing notion and let my fingers create what comes naturally and beautifully. Not all my crazy ideas work and but quite often I will create something amazing from my failures.
