I do science and sew things.

Most of my waking hours are spent in a research lab, studying water samples and the dynamics of dissolved organic matter - Trying to understand and explain what you cannot see with the naked eye.

Science is thrilling, but it can also be tedious and exhausting ...

Enter What. No Mints?

My shop gives me an excuse to stretch my creative muscles and give the left side of my brain respite from the strain of chemistry research.

My inspiration is diverse, but genuinely reflects the things I love most (the Everglades, molecular structures, puff pastry, manta rays, country living, etc). WNM gives me the opportunity to share my interests and my passions with you.

I choose to work with 100% wool for many of my handmade items because it is soft, yet durable - A high-quality, renewable fiber. It cuts beautifully, perfect for accentuating the details of each design. I also like to frame my embroidery art in vintage or pre-owned embroidery hoops - I think it gives each piece a little added personality.

Restoring vintage Coach handbags has become a recent passion of mine. The high-quality, thick and supple leather Coach used to manufacture its classic bags is simply to die for. Having ridden horses for years and cared for all my own tack, it feels great to work with beautiful leather again - Revitalizing these timeless pieces to be shared and worn for years to come!

If you'd like to learn a little more about me - Feel free to follow my random outbursts on Twitter or see what's going on behind the scenes by checking out my blog - You can find links for both under my picture on the right!

If you are new to Etsy and want more information on the check-out procedure, please visit the following site: http://www.etsy.com/help_guide_checkout.php
All domestic orders are sent via USPS First Class shipping with delivery confirmation. International orders are sent USPS First Class International. Shipping costs of individual items can be found on item pages. I usually get orders in the mail within 2-3 days, but please allow up to 1 week for me to ship your item.

If you are interested in bumping your shipping to Priority, etc. please let me know and I will send you a PayPal invoice for the additional charges.

All international customers are responsible for their own customs fees and I will be marking your shipment honestly.

In an effort to save paper I will not be including a printed invoice or packing slip with your shipment. If necessary, you may print one yourself for your own records by simply hovering over "Your Account" at the top of the page, then clicking "Purchases" and printing the invoice for the item you ordered.

All of my items come pre-wrapped in recycled tissue paper and secured with a bit of washi tape. Items are then shipped in an EcoEnclose 100% biodegradable mailer or a reused box/mailer.
Refunds and Exchanges
Feel free to return items (in their original condition) to my Etsy address within 7 days of receiving the item for a full refund of the item price (not including shipping).* Please notify me via e-mail or convo to say that you are doing so and the reason for the return/exchange. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Buyer will be charged a 10% re-stocking fee for the return of vintage items.

*This does not apply to custom orders! All custom orders are final as they are created specifically for the buyer, therefore I do not accept returns in these cases.
