Welcome to What's in Grampa's Shack! All of our pieces are designed and made by us in our home. Hand painted anchors, slate, canvases, claybords and gourds make wonderful gifts for you or a friend or relative. Please look around and if there's something you don't see, let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you. Payment must be made before your order is shipped.

Returns and exchanges
If you are unhappy with a purchase for any reason, please let me know within 7 days of receiving it, and I will either exchange it for you or refund your money. However, damage done by the buyer will not be considered as a reason for a refund.

Payment
Payment must be made in US dollars before your order is shipped. PayPal and Direct Checkout are my preferred methods of payment.

Items weighing less than 13 ounces will be shipped First Class Mail, insured, within 48 hours - 2 business days - through the US Postal Service. A tracking number will be sent to you at the time of mailing. **In the case of items that are made to order, please allow 7 to 10 business days for shipping.**
If, for some reason, your package doesn't reach you or is damaged in transit, the insurance will compensate you for your purchase. If an item is received damaged, please let me know and I will send you the insurance information so you can get your money back.

Additional policies and FAQs
All of our items are hand made by us, therefore, no items are identical even if they are very similar. Each item is unique!
In the case of slate, our slate came off of the roof of a church in Honeybrook, PA and the sizes do vary. The outside edges of the slates may have little dings or even a corner broken off. This is the way we received them and it seems to add character to the finished slate. We will add a name, street number, Welcome, or your custom wording to a slate for no extra charge. However, a completely custom slate will cost more and will include 2 design sketches for your approval. More than one sketch will require an extra charge.
The sizes and shapes of the gourds we have are the sizes and shapes that are available at the gourd farm. Therefore I paint each gourd before listing it so that you can see the exact one you will receive. I will add a name or custom wording on a gourd at no extra charge. However, we do charge more for a totally custom gourd which includes 2 sketches for your approval. Personalized items are not returnable.
The anchors and paddles are hand made by my husband who cuts them out, sands, routers and stains them for me to paint. I can do almost any lighthouse or scene of a lighthouse for you as well as adding someone's name, a phrase that will fit on the crossbar, a street number or your custom wording at no extra charge

If we are very busy, such as at Christmas time, it may take longer depending on the number of orders ahead of yours. If this is a problem, we will let you know.
