Thank-you for taking the time to check out our little shop. We hope we have all the information you are looking for either here or in our profile page. If there is anything we've missed, or anything else you like to know, please send us convo. We love feedback :)

For best results we recommend you use Scotchgard to protect your bag, then spot clean as required. We do pre-wash all fabrics, however as many of the fabrics we use are salvaged we can only guess the exact material content. Should you wish to wash your bag, we recommend gentle hand washing in mild detergent and drying flat in the shade. However we can take no responsibility for any damage that may occur from washing. Most bags may be ironed unless otherwise stated.

Returns and exchanges

In the event that you wish to return your purchase, please send an Etsy conversation or email to us straight away (store@beckybean.com) so we can work something out. We take a lot of pride in the items we create, and we are happy to provide a money back guarantee for the quality of the materials and workmanship that has gone into our bags. If you simply change your mind about your purchase, we are happy to provide a refund as long as the bag is returned in its original condition within 14 days. In this case, we would ask you to pay the return shipping fee. We want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions - Thanks, Bec and Jade :)

We accept PayPal for International and Domestic orders, and Australian buyers can also contact us for direct debit payments.


We require payment within three working days of receiving the order. After two working days, we will send you a convo to check if there are any problems. If you are having any trouble we are happy to work with you - we just need to know :) If we don't hear back within 24 hours we will relist the item.

We use regular Australian Post to ship your parcel. For information visit www.auspost.com.au. Registered or Express Post is also available at an extra cost. Please convo us or send an email to store [!at] beckybean.com if you would like us to use a method of post other than Regular.


We make every effort to ship your order quickly. However, we are both stay-at home mums with little kids, and busy family schedules to work around, so please allow up to 3 business days for us to process your order. When we ship your order, we will update the status in our Etsy shop notifying you that your order has been shipped. We will also send you a quick convo to confirm that the item is on its way. If you have questions about your order, please either convo us or email us at store [!at] beckybean.com.
Additional policies and FAQs

We have decided this year to not take custom orders. Our workload as mums is increasing a lot this year, and we are having to fit bag-making in around the rest of our lives. Custom orders makes this difficult, and takes a bit of the fun out of it all, so unfortunately we will only be selling bags already made and listed. This may change in the future as we feel more comfortable with our routines, so please check back if, down the track you, are still interested in custom bags.
