Running through my neighborhood park, I see a delicate sea horse in the metal grill work of an old bath house … sorting through a pile of matchbooks collected over the past 50 years by my Grandmother, a quirky fox catches my eye ... driving down South Congress in my hometown, a funky feather on a retro sign pops out at me. Images that might go unnoticed by others call out to me and beg to be brought to life through my imagination and illustration. I look for color and image inspiration everywhere: architecture, industrial signage, fashion, vintage illustrations.

Every Whimsey Chronicles collection begins with a story, complete with characters and a plot that come to life as I meticulously place them in a pattern. When you bring one of my textiles or wallpapers into your home, you truly have a “storybook” incorporated in your design.

I design textiles and wallpapers that I would like to see in my own home. My style is contemporary mixed with a vintage flair so I seek to create something whimsical, yet limitless as to age, gender and era. I fuse shadows to achieve a three dimensional effect which in turn adds pop to a space instantly! I’m always changing, adapting, looking … which makes designing new patterns a dream come true!

I custom print each order and I welcome any additional commissions such as scaling prints, creating special colorways or constructing something totally unique!

Are we environmentally friendly ... absolutely! All my printed textiles are eco-friendly and washable. My wallpaper is printed with environmentally friendly UV inks with 0 VOC's. Even our packaging is recycled! Eco Enclose is our packaging of preference and they make 100% biodegradable mailers!
