Heart in and Heart Out

I have been interested in making handcrafted items since I was old enough to hold a scissors and have dabbled with all sorts of crafts... beadwork, clay, crochet, crosstitch - but paper crafting and crafting with recycled and natural materials is the medium and interest that has stuck through all the rest.

Every item I make for Whimsical DeeSigns is made with as much care and heart as possible. I love what I do and it is my fondest wish that not only do people like what I make, but they also get a sense of the fun, whimsy and heart that goes into the creation of each item as a personal take away!

Thanks for stopping by Whimsical DeeSigns here on Etsy! Each handcrafted item is made with care and my dedicated passion for working with the mediums I love - paper, beads, twigs, fibers and any and all materials I can re-or-up-cycle into something fun, whimsical and "artsy".

I try to be as accurate and honest as possible in my descriptions and welcome any and all "convo'd" questions about my work. It is important to me that each and everyone who purchases something from my shop feels that they got the best care and personalized attention as possible, and that the item(s) they purchase aren't just "something to buy", but something that is unique and special!

I fill orders Monday-Friday and all items are shipped within 1-2 business days of order close (payment has been received/cleared) unless otherwise specified.

All items are shipped USPS First Class to help minimize shipping costs for you.*

- If your item(s) are cheaper to ship than invoiced, I will refund you this overage if the amount is at least $1.00 US or more

- I will combine shipments when possible to help save on shipping costs and will refund any overage if the amount is at least $1.00 or more

- If you would like the item insured for over $50 in value, please indicate this in the message box at the time you place your order (USPS First Class and Priority packages are automatically insured for up to $50.00 in value)

*I am more than happy to accomodate you, whenever possible, if you need expidited or "other" shipping arrangements. Please convo me BEFORE placing your order so I can work out shipping details and provide you with an accurate invoice including your specified shipping preferences.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

All of the policies specified under "Domestic Shipping Apply" to International Shipping. In addition:

- Additional costs, duties and taxes as prescribed by the destination country's mail policies is your responsibility

- Once your package has left the United States, the tracking of the package becomes the responsibility of the destination country's shipping policies and procedures

- I cannot provide any assistance with damaged and/or lost packages outside of the continental US in any fashion, though I will make every attempt to assist you as I can in specific situations if you contact me with the issue via Etsy Convo (Essentially I keep accurate and detailed records of all sales and shipments and can provide assistance from that perspective)

PACKAGING

I make every attempt to recycle or use recycled, post-consumer waste materials in my packaging (and my handcrafted items as well). I also do "re-use" bubble wrap, "air balloons", peanuts and other materials as another way to try to be as environmentally concientious as possible.

All item(s) are packaged with the utmost care to ensure they are as protected and safe in shipment as possible. I try to balance reasonable shipping costs with best "packaging" for your item(s) for each and every order I send out.
Refunds and Exchanges
All of my handmade items are one-of-a-kind handcrafted or limited edition handcrafted and typically seasonal or "occasion-based" and in general are non-refundable. I do, however, very much value every customer to my shop and so will be more than happy to work with you if you feel any error with your item(s) is/are my responsibility.

- If you have an issue you with your order upon receipt, that you feel is an error on my end, please contact me via Etsy Convo within 7 business days of receipt of your order so we can work through a fair and satisfactory solution for you

Typically this would be limited to instances where:

- 1) you received a different item than ordered
- 2) the item itself is somehow "broken" or defective from the listing description and the fault is NOT due to damage resulting from shipment

- Any lost or damaged shipments are the responsibility of the USPS (or other specified shipment company) and should be addressed through their policies and procedures for lost and/or damaged shipments
