Wonderful to work with! Colors weren't what i was looking for, but she fixed them and provided amazing customer service :-) Would definitly purchase from her again!

My Story

After working for several years as a professional dancer (in Las Vegas, on Cruise Ships, and touring the USA and Australia), and dance instructor for ages 4-adult, I made the transition to wife, mommy, and business owner. Whimsy and Whirl began shortly after my daughter's first birthday when I searched and searched for the perfect tutu outfit for her. I ended up ordering one for her by another seamstress, but was slightly dissapointed in the quick "construction" of the tutu. Reflecting back on the sewing skills I had picked up as a little girl from my dance teacher, Jane, and my Grandma Edith who raised me, I knew I could find a better way to make a quality tutu. With a whole lot of practice, and even more trial and error I had finally mastered a full, fluffy, machine washable and performance enduring machine sewn tutu for girls and women of ALL ages. However, going along with the perfectionist spirit I was born with, I knew I needed to create MORE. Along came my personalized appliqued onesies and shirts, boutique bows, rolled rose hair accessories, aprons and crowns.
As the "one man show" that is me at Whimsy and Whirl, I am aware that I do not know everything, and therefore I continue to learn and improve my craft everyday and I strive to offer the very best that I can in customer service. There is no Whimsy and Whirl without the support, feedback (positive and negative) and satisfaction of my super duper customers. You can be assured that when you order from me you are getting everything 100% from ME. That includes emails, orders, designing, sewing, packaging, and shipping.
I have dressed up several little girls in tutu outfits since they were newborns, now 3 and 4 years old. My dream is to be able to continue this business, getting better and better everyday, and to someday dress up the daughters of these sweet little girls wearing my tutus today.

As a former professional dancer (ballet, theater, etc) I understand the importance of longevity in a tutu. That is why my tutus are MACHINE SEWN below the elastic to ensure quality, and longevity. There are NO KNOTS to come undone, so even your most curious little ballerina cannot unravel the beauty of her tutu! My tutus have maximum "stretch-ability", ensuring years of wear and use!

All tutus, tutu outfits, shirts/onsies, crowns, etc. can be customized, so please convo me to set up a custom listing if you do not see an exsisting listing to your liking!

I also LOVE to create new things! If you are looking for something you do not see in my shop, please convo me to see if I can create it! Lets work together to bring your vision to life!!!

Tutus...2-4 weeks(AFTER PAYMENT HAS CLEARED)
**Most often, production times will be less than estimated above. Often, it depends on if I have the item in stock or if I have to order it before I can begin to customize it for you.

**All fabrics, ribbons, and flowers are subject to availabilty. I try not to keep huge amounts of the same fabric in stock, because I like for every customer to have a unique item, different than many others!

We accept Paypal.

**Payment is due at time of purchase. If payment is not made within 48 hours of purchase, your order will be canceled, and a new order will need to be resubmitted. Packages will only be sent AFTER payment has cleared.

You do not need a paypal account to pay through paypal. You can simply pay with your credit or debit card with a paypal invoice. You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the "Pay Now" button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.
Shipping
All packages are shipped via Canada Post. International tracking is not provided, unless you request it for an additional fee. Insurance is not provided, but can be purchased at your request.
I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been shipped. I am not responsible for any extra fees that you may incur (ie. customs). I am not responsible for packages delayed in customs for long periods of time. PLEASE CHECK WITH ME BEFORE YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR SPECIAL REQUESTS REGUARDING SHIPPING!

Refunds and Exchanges
Custom orders with names, initials, numbers, etc. can not be refunded. If you have an issue with your order, please contact me so we can work together to resolve the issue. I want to ensure that you are satisfied with the final product, and although I cannot refund your money, I may be able to exchange for the exact item. However, if you recieve a damaged product, please let me know so I can get a new one out to you ASAP.

CHOKING HAZARDS:

Please be aware that my creations do contain small parts that could pose choking threats. i.e. clips, bows, ribbon, rhinestones, etc. Please supervise your children at all times while near or using my products. Whimsy and Whirl/Tenetia Di Salvo cannot and will not be responsible for any incidents that occur while wearing or playing with our products.

Upon receival of your order, I humbly ask that you leave positive feedback. Should you have an issue with your order, PLEASE contact me to resolve the issue, BEFORE leaving negative feedback!
