Whimsy Bound Designs tiene su sede en Texas y comenzó oficialmente en 2021, centrándose en el restyling de sombreros vintage a medida y muñecas de tela hechas a mano. Aunque vendí algunos artículos aquí en Etsy, la mayor parte de mi negocio provino de un Maker's Market local en persona que organicé.
A fines del otoño de 2022, un empeoramiento de la condición del túnel carpiano causó muchos problemas en mi oficio, lo que finalmente llevó a una cirugía en la primavera de 2023. Necesitaba ajustar mi enfoque y hacer cambios difíciles pero necesarios en mi negocio y los artículos que creo.
Entonces, aunque ya no puedo ofrecer pedidos de sombreros personalizados y muñecas hechas a mano, todavía puedo crear obras de arte y ofrecerlas como imprimibles y portátiles. Mis artículos todavía se crean para generar alegría, felicidad, deleite, curiosidad y asombro a pesar de que los productos mismos han cambiado.

Whimsy Bound Designs is based in Texas and officially began in 2021, focusing on bespoke vintage hat restyling and handmade cloth dolls. Even though I sold a few items here on Etsy, most of my business came from an in-person local Maker's Market I organized.
In the late fall of 2022, a worsening carpal tunnel condition caused many issues for my craft which eventually led to surgery in the spring of 2023. I needed to adjust my focus and make difficult yet necessary changes to my business and the items I create.
So, although I am no longer able to offer custom hat orders and handmade dolls, I am still able to create artwork and offer them as printable and wearables. My items are still created to bring forth joy, happiness, delight, curiosity, and wonder even though the products themselves have changed.
