Choosing the color combos for the macrame plant hangers is my favorite!
I like to make stuff.
I started this shop in 2007 as a way to feed my creative hunger. Over the years WHIMSY LOVE has been filled with ALL kinds of random art & crafts. I like making stuff. A lot. Painting, knitting, sewing, doodling, blackout poetry, writing, photography, crafty anything. If I'm not making, I'm not living!
After a 2.5 year hiatus from Etsy (due to traveling & doing busy life things in Alaska) I'm back, as of August 2020! I hope you'll love all the whimsical & colorful macrame coming your way. My fondness of plants (love 'em, can't have enough of 'em) has helped fuel this recent crafting venture. As has the COVID-19 pandemic, where I funneled my emotions & idle time into knotting up plant hangers. SO. MANY. PLANT HANGERS. But then friends & family started wanting them. And that kicked my butt in this direction.
When I'm not crafting, you can find me thrifting, cuddling with my 3 cats, sipping tea, watering all my houseplants, working in the garden, hanging with my hubby & 2 teenage daughters, or eating sweets.
