Wonderland weddings and candy-coloured fairy garden tea parties...

This adventure began with my daughter - at three she desperately wanted a purple fairy costume, so I made her one. Somehow the idea blossomed into a fairy garden tea party for her fifth birthday, complete with an indoor hanging garden to wow her little fairy guests.

At that time I was just having fun with my young children, creating something special and encouraging big imaginations. When I look back now with a house full of confetti bits and scraps of tulle, I had no idea it would lead to working with so many wonderful customers - moms, brides, event planners, boutique owners, window display curators...the list goes on!

I give my children full credit for unleashing my imagination - their own creativity and enthusiasm is contagious. I am also blessed to have a supportive husband who encourages all of my ideas and puts up with the messes I make.

I am active in animal rescue and hold three volunteer roles with Toronto Cat Rescue. Shelters are full everywhere. Please spay & neuter your pets.

My production time fluctuates depending on my current schedule. Please see my shop announcement for updates.

I generally answer inquiries M-F in early mornings or late at night, I'm in EST time zone. Inquiries received on WEEKENDS are usually answered on Monday mornings, thank you!

My items are made with a lot of love, passion, and a little perfectionism. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a Whimsy Pie product, please contact me immediately - I want to know & I'm sure I can make it right!

PARTY BLOOMS: If I send you the wrong colour, I will exchange or refund unbloomed, undamaged party blooms in re-sellable condition and packaged specifically to my instructions.

EVENT DATE MISSED: If you let me know of your event date, AND upgraded to Xpresspost Guaranteed shipping but your package did not make it on time, you may qualify for a shipping refund, and possibly a product refund determined on a case by case basis. If your order was fully customized (colour, size etc) and different from my regular listings, I can't accept a return for resale but you may qualify for a shipping refund.

UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS: If your item, shipped to the address provided by you, is returned to me via "Return to Sender" (refused, not picked up at your PO, you supplied the wrong address and current resident refuses package, etc), the return shipping cost is your responsibility and will be taken out of any possible refund.

ALL RETURNS: I will give very specific packaging instructions for any returns. Most of the time, this means completely unopened! Anything sent back to me that has been opened & repackaged will not be refunded, except in a case of my sending the wrong item, discovered upon opening.

Anything sent back to me smelling of smoke or perfume or any other scent will not be accepted for exchange/refund.

Additional policies and FAQs
HELP! MY ORDER HASN'T ARRIVED FOR MY PARTY!

I ask for event dates not because of my production time, but so I can recommend shipping upgrades or cancel orders when I think it's necessary. Only Xpresspost has delivery guarantees and is usually 3-4 days to US destinations, and a week or so to international destinations (not remote).

For most destinations, Regular Air, Trackable Air, and Expedited packages normally* arrive within 10 BUSINESS DAYS. Weekends and holidays do not count as business days!

If your order has not arrived after 10 business days of shipping, follow these steps:
1. check the tracking number online if you upgraded to a trackable service
2. check your regular mail for a pick up notice
3. check with your local post office, in case your pick up notice was misplaced, delivered to the wrong address, or blew away

I ship with Canada Post but the package is delivered to you by the postal service in your country. My flowers are packaged in long tubular packages and are easy to spot or remember by your postal workers but don't always fit into mailboxes.

*Most packages arrive in less than 2 weeks, but the odd one takes the full 10 business days or more. Further delays are rare but can happen ANY TIME due to STRIKES, CUSTOMS & extreme WEATHER conditions.

CAN I HAVE THESE BY NEXT WEEK?

No. They are made by hand and I have a waiting list. My current production time is posted in my front page announcement and at the top of my policies page.

CAN I PAY EXTRA TO GET THEM FASTER?

Yes, Xpresspost shipping is available, but your order will still be subject to my posted production time. It's only fair for the people who order first.

CAN I ORDER FLOWERS IN CUSTOM COLOURS?

Yes. There is a link in each listing to my colour chart. Please put your custom colour request in the 'Note to Seller' box at checkout to ensure I see your request!

WILL THEY LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PHOTO?

Yes, if you follow the instructions, and if you don't squish them as you open them.

ARE FLOWERS EASY TO OPEN?

They require patience and a gentle hand, but they are easy for most people. Expect to spend 1 hour per set of flowers to make them look perfect. If you crush or crunch the paper, be sure to smooth it back out!

WHAT IS THE COST OF SHIPPING TO MY COUNTRY?

Place the item in your cart and it will calculate the shipping for you, without committing to purchase. Please read the information provided in the shipping section of my policies before placing an order.

DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE DISCOUNTS?

No, I do not offer wholesale. Retail packaging would only add to the cost of them. My flowers are priced fairly for their value and the time it takes to make each one. I am not a factory and don't have an assembly line or machines to pump them out quickly. They are HANDMADE. By my hands. Keeping my production small makes it fair for everyone including myself. It also keeps the product more exclusive. I've never been interested in mass produced products.
