Not only do we have yarn bowls and yarn Swirlettes for all you fabulous knitters and crocheters, we also have bowls that make great gifts for the men in your life. Our bowls are great for a mans dresser or nightstand to catch all the "stuff". ( keys, change, wallet, gum, business cards etc.)

May, Maryland sheep and wool- West Friendship Maryland
October, South eastern animal fiber festival (SAFF) Fletcher NC
November, Fiber in the Boro- Murfreesboro Tennessee
We have added beautiful end grain cutting boards and fruit/ salad bowls to our inventory.
All of our solid wood bowls are made from locally grown, Georgia trees. Thousands of trees are lost to disease or wind storms yearly. We are able to save some from landfills and from being used as firewood to bring you these beautifully hand turned bowls.
We want to say thank you to all of our customers and shoppers. It is because of you that we are inspired to offer our products and keep our store open.
The Whispering Woodturner offers Beautiful one of a kind, hand turned yarn swirlettes, yarn bowls, and other beautiful, hand turned, wood pieces. We will also be featuring a few Misc. trinkets and treasures. More inventory coming soon.

5 out of 5 starsI've been busy crocheting up a storm for the holidays with my new "Yarn Swirlette" and I am so very happy I bought this one from this merchant :-) My swirlette is not only beautiful but it is very well made with quality materials and attention to detail by the maker. It moves with ease and with the stoppers on the bottom I have not had it slide at all on the table. Indeed, it is a joy for me to have this piece on my side table these days as one of my new and pretty 'yarny' tools. I just LOVE it!!

I don't have to keep jerking my arm around to pull more yarn, plus my yarn doesn't keep falling on the floor. The swirler is very well made,and turns smoothly and quietly. I chose the walnut, and the color is lovely. I am very pleased with my purchase, and I highly recommend yarn swirlers to anyone that works with yarn.

Lightweight and very smooth, does not catch on yarn and this makes the knitting and crocheting experience so enjoyable! Very nicely packaged, superfast shipping. Would be a fabulous gift for the yarn enthusiast in your life. Thank you so very much, I really love this piece!

The Yarn Swirlette and Yarn Bowls are designed for ease of use by all yarn enthusiasts. They keep your yarn from rolling to the floor, getting tangled and from collecting pet hair and other debris.
All of our art and trinkets bring us satisfaction and enjoyment that we want to pass on to you, our customers!
If you are purchasing one of our items as a gift, and are shipping it directly to them, we can include a personalized note as a courtesy to you, such as Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, ETC. Please include a message to us when checking out and we will be happy do this for you.

Exchanges only, if deemed necessary.
No refunds on shipping charges.
Each item is shipped securely and with care. We will not be responsible for delivery damage or items lost in transit.

If you decide to pay through PayPal, even if you don't have an account with them, you can use your card.
Orders will process once payment has cleared... Please keep in mind that e-checks take several days to clear. If payment is not received within 5 days of order then the item will be re listed.
Georgia residents, tax will be automatically added to your order at checkout.

Once your item(s) have been shipped, I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. I strongly recommend that you purchase shipping insurance.

$0.01 - $50 = $1.75
$50.01 - $100 = $2.25
All items will ship as soon as payment is processed.
We are happy to ship internationally, however you must pay all applicable taxes, customs, insurance, and shipping fees that go above the regular cost.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Orders: We use a variety of woods to make our Bowls and Swirlettes. We only list what we have available to sell, on Etsy. Some of our photos are of locally sold items. If you have a particular wood in mind that you wood like Steve to make a bowl or swirlette out of please convo us to see what we can do for you. We do charge a $10.00 non refundable, special order fee and it must be paid at the time order is placed. Thank You.
