... After sewing a few thousand yards of lace with other company's labels I eventually started sewing bridal bags, garters and pillows with my own name and label attached. Of course, sewing Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Vera Wang and Only Hearts labels onto my work since 1990 was quite an honor.
...May 2005 I began selling sample bridal items, surplus laces and wedding decor at flea markets and started buying vintage silverplate flatware. Now I sell my vintage bridal items and silverplate flatware at Brimfield Antique Market in May, July and September.
...Flatware is typically sold by service for 4 with couple serving pieces included. You can also request it by piece, place setting or full set. Silverplated flatware advertising usually focused on selling to brides. So I feel I have entered into a good marriage with my product mix and although silverplate has taken over my home studio space for the near future.

The shopowner emailed me to see if a substitution could be made, giving me a gravy ladle instead of a serving spoon, which actually suited my purposes perfectly. This was a sentimental purchase for me and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and condition of the items.
