About Whisperwill
Making jewelry the old fashioned way.
When I was a girl, my grandmother brought me to a Native American reservation close to our home and bought me a beadwoven bracelet. Something about the way it moved transfixed me - I would play with it constantly, rubbing it between my fingers.
I lost that bracelet somewhere along the years, but in 2011 I discovered the art of beadweaving myself, and my jewelrymaking hobby turned into a business. I later started metalsmithing and I was a goner. I'm a full-fledged jeweler now and new designs are always floating around in my mind! I'm very inspired by modern architecture and the beautiful, desolate deserts around the Southwest I've come to know and love.
I hope you enjoy my pieces as much as I do!
(I also love my cat Peaches, cooking, crossword puzzles, bad television, watching movies with my husband, board games, visiting the zoo, and midmorning snacks.)
