About

Whitemarsh Island Woodworks for Etsy

Whitemarsh Island Woodworks is a division of Blue Star Cay, LLC. We are a small local producer of high end artisanal charcuterie boards and low country provisions to elevate any dining experience.

We hand cut and rub beautiful birds eye maple charcuterie boards for use in the home and restaurant industry. All of our boards are sourced from the Northwest US with final cuts, sanding, branding and nameplate attachment occurring in Athens Georgia and on Whitemarsh Island.

We love oysters and most anything that comes from the sea therefore we design products that are not only highly functional but beautiful to set a table with. Our Carolina Shucking Board has a masculine good look but has been expertly designed to assist in limiting injuries from shucking - even the most obstinate bivalve! All of our products are carefully designed to provide the cook or hostess with not only a beautiful tool but a functional one!

Due to our love of fresh foods from the sea, we are also passionate at being good stewards to our environment, therefore in 2014 we established a non profit; Clean Earth Oysters, LLC. Clean Earth Oysters is the brain child of an environmental engineer from Georgia Tech, who developed a local project to assist with clean up of local creeks and estuaries. With each oyster related product sold we will donate a percentage of the sale to this wonderful cause, in an ongoing effort to help revitalize our coastal waters.

Hello and Welcome to Island time! We think a beautiful table setting can be had even at a low country boil or an oyster roast - using hand crafted gorgeous pieces. Each charcuterie board produced by our company is hand made in the state of Georgia - no two are alike, each one is a unique & beautiful piece of art. Our accompany pieces are designed to complement the boards and help you achieve a laid back, yet beautiful table. Bon Appetite!
