Thanks for visiting White Oak Soaps!
White Oak Soaps sells high-quality, handcrafted soaps. We'd love for you to try out one of our bars!
Be sure to check back for new arrivals!

I use high-quality ingredients in my soap. My soaps may include the saponified oils of olive, coconut, palm, castor, soybean, and even shea butter. All of our soaps that include palm oil are made from SUSTAINABLE palm oil. All of my soaps are vegan.

The white oak is significant in several ways.
1. Several generations ago in Appalachia, the locals would make soaps out of animal fats and the ashes of white oak trees. Since then, the process has been improved by using gentler ingredients, such as vegetable oils and even fragrances.
2. Leah Hornsey, the owner of the shop, loves being outside and is interested in forestry.
3. White oaks are very common in the North Georgia foothills and mountains.

I view my soaps as practical works of art. I hope you enjoy them.
