Unique, Colorful Art

Care instructions for Artwork

Original paintings are varnished for protection against light and dust. A lightweight dust cloth will work to remove any dust. As with any artwork, displaying in direct sunlight will result in fading over time. It is recommended to keep all artwork out of direct sunlight.

Hanging Orientation

I would be happy to change the hanging orientation of any piece upon request, provided this is technically possible. This service is provided free of charge. Contact me if you would like to me to change the way a piece hangs for you.

Frame Removal

If you dislike the choice of frame on a painting, I am happy to remove the frame, and its cost, from the sales price. Please notify me before purchase so I can update the sales price.

Note on VAT and GST

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS, the buyer is responsible for any and all customs fees, duties, taxes, etc. that their country charges.

PLEASE NOTE: Etsy has recently added the text "VAT included (where applicable)" and "GST included (where applicable)" next to the price of items when viewed from outside the USA.

As a seller in the USA, I am not registered to collect tax in other countries. It is NOT "applicable" for me to charge/include tax. Items DO NOT include these taxes.

You are responsible for paying all taxes/duties/fees, etc. that your country charges. These are collected upon receipt of the item by your postal services.

What if my Order Arrives Damaged?

Every painting is carefully packed & inspected before shipment. Upon receipt of your order, please inspect your artwork. In the event that damage has occurred during shipment, please contact me within 24 hours and attach photos that clearly show the damaged box AND the damaged artwork. I cannot file a claim if you wait more than 24 hours after delivery. As the recipient, you must hold on to all original packaging material as well as the box for a claim to be processed. If the original packaging isn't available, I will not be able to help with claim process. The entire responsibility of handling the claim will fall to you as the customer.

Returns and Refunds

Refunds are not accepted for custom orders (including commissions).

All other artwork can be returned for a refund (excluding all shipping charges). Return shipping for non-damaged items is at the customer's expense. Additionally, the return MUST be approved prior to shipping & I must be notified of your wish to return your artwork within 3 days of receipt. The artwork must be shipped back to me within 7 business days of receiving the art, the package must be insured, and the item must be in the appropriate sized box packed with appropriate packing material. Upon receiving the returned artwork, all item(s) will be inspected. If the artwork isn't damaged in any way, a refund will be issued.

Holiday & Special Deadline Orders

Please order holiday gift purchases as early as possible. Most orders go out within 1 business day after the order. However, I cannot guarantee that the shipping company will deliver in a timely manner. If the shipping company fails to deliver your art by the holiday, I cannot be held responsible. I will not refund any part of the order should this occur.

To be safe, all holiday orders should placed by Dec. 16, 2017.

Returns still much meet the regular, year-round requirements (see the Policies section & FAQ for full details). I am not responsible for the return shipping costs on non-damaged items.

What if the package is shipped to the wrong address?

Shipping labels are printed with the address provided to Etsy by the customer. Customers are responsible for ensuring their address is correct. I am NOT responsible for mis-delivered packages due to customer error.

- If the package is returned to me, I can re-ship the package at the customer's additional expense. If you do not wish to have it re-shipped, I will refund the original purchase price, minus the original shipping cost.

- If the package is NOT returned to me, YOU must contact the shipping company within 24 hours of supposed delivery. If the shipping company cannot locate the package there are NO REFUNDS. Insurance does not cover packages that were delivered as addressed.

What happens if a package isn't delivered, but the tracking states that it did?

In the rare cases that a parcel is marked as delivered by the courier, but the recipient reports they have yet to receive it, WhiteRose's Art will not cover the cost of reshipping the order. In the event of a Printful fulfilled order, Printful will also NOT cover the cost of reshipping the order. Again, this only applies if the tracking details state that a delivery was made to the recipient's address.

In most instances, it is found that the delivery was made, but the package was left in an unexpected location at the recipient's address. Recipients should reach out to the courier and inquire if any additional details were left by the delivery person - e.g. "left under table on back porch."
