    My Little Obsession

Each piece of jewelry I make has a little of myself in it. I feel that I don't just put pieces of chain and beads together, I take a thought, a feeling out of myself and make it into something you can see and wear.

My jewelry is often inspired by the lovely salvaged vintage objects themselves. I'm fascinated by the history of the sometimes century old items I find and the stories and lives of the people who used and loved them. Recreating these oddments into something beautiful and useful is like preserving a small part of history.

Even the most simple and dainty pieces I create make me smile because I made it with a particular thought or mood behind it. I hope they'll make you smile too. :)

In a nut shell I'm: a crazy-obsessed jewelry maker with tendencies of giggling uncontrollably, a garage sale extraordinaire, (with help from mom!) and lover of cast-off curios. I often squeal over the cuteness of bunnies and other furry animals.
