About

How it all began, my love of yarn

People have asked many times where my shop name came from. It was given to me by a special friend. I had spent hours searching for the best prices for "wiggly eyes" for my stuffed animals. When it came time to pick a name wiggly just seemed to fit, wiggly eyes did not. So you use your eyes to see with, so was born wigglysee.

I have always had a fascination with yarn and what beautiful items that are created with it. I started out making afghans about 35 years ago. I was asked by a friend to make her a puppy dog and my love for making little crocheted stuffed critters began.

When I stopped working, I still continued to make my little “babies” as I call them. I needed an outlet to sell them and found etsy and opened my toy store. It has involved through the years with the use of old favorite patterns to new designs.

I now specialize in making crocheted stuffed helicopters and aircraft, mostly military style.

I have turned my spare bedroom into my craft storage room, all my yarn, shipping supplies and photo studio is set up there.

Have fun browsing my shop,if you do not see what you want I do take custom order requests.
