Really nice garlic keeper with crystalline glaze (my favorite glaze). I would liked to be able to store more than 3 or 4 cloves in this, but I think that's the max in nearly all of these kinds of jars, and maybe I just use too much garlic! The seller sent it right away in a very secure package and it is a lovely jar. I think I will get another one as a gift for a family member.

About

For the Love of Pottery

There is nothing like getting your hands in contact with the coolness of clay and molding it into a beautiful work of art that can be shared, used and enjoyed. Everything from building, throwing, firing and glazing is a lead up to the day when the final firing is completed and there's a huge quiet moment seeing the final product. Then, of course, there's the sharing pottery with other people.

Most of my clay comes from local sources including clay from our my own farm, local streams, and local mountains. The studio currently works two kilns almost full time. Every piece is uniquely hand crafted, sculptured or thrown, fired to over 2200 degrees, and glazed.

My intent is not to become a production pottery, but to bring lovingly hand crafted, one of a kind pieces from my studio to your homes and businesses.
From the mountains of Northern California from my hands to you!

Shipping
Our shop ships USPS. It is the fastest, safest, least expensive, insured means of getting your treasures to you from our mountain location. Typically, pottery is heavy and ships Priority arriving within 3-4 business days. Overseas orders take longer, of course, but you'll be able to track your package usually until it leaves the U.S. and sometimes right to your door.

We are not responsible for damages or losses incurred by the shipping company. Please let us know asap if something arrives damaged and we'll start an insurance claim right away.

All taxes, tariffs and other costs incurred during shipping are the responsibility of the purchaser.

We refund shipping overages of $2 or more. Your package will be marked "glass!" and "fragile". This does not mean that your product is glass, but it is marked glass so it will be handled carefully during transport. Your beautiful new stoneware ceramic item is according to the description given on each item ~
