Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
We accept returns on unworn/undamaged items within one week of receiving your order, except for custom orders. However, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. A refund or exchange for the cost of the item will be issued upon receiving the returned item. If there is a problem with your order, or you would like to return a custom order, please send us a message and we can try to work it out!

▷ MADE BY HAND: As stated in all of our listings, our items are created by hand. We stamp each piece by hand, one letter at a time. Small variations (in letter placement, spacing, or depth) add character to the piece and showcase its nature as a unique item made by hand and not by a machine. Each item is cut, filed, sanded, stamped, and polished by hand by the two artists (not in a sweatshop!)

Our accessories are made with brass along with vintage/deadstock materials, such as charms, chains, and clasps. Brass will develop an aged patina over time; some people prefer this look, and some prefer to polish it back to a mirror shine–it's up to you! We accept direct payment through Etsy, Etsy gift certificates, and Paypal.

Etsy/Paypal handles all credit card transactions directly with the customer and then deposits funds to our account. We have no access to your billing information (billing address or credit card number/code).

Please contact us immediately to request cancellation of any orders. We will try to accommodate all requests. However, in almost all cases, custom orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has begun.
We are a two-person shop, and we work hard to make and ship your items as quickly as possible. Most everything is made by hand, which makes your item unique and special– and also means that we need time to complete your order, especially for custom requests. If you need something to arrive by a specific date, please send message with your preferred delivery date and destination **before ordering**. We will try to accommodate your needs!

▷ PRODUCTION TIMING/TURNAROUND: Please check holiday shipping timelines on our homepage, shop announcement, or at the top of every listing for the latest news!

If you have a rush order, please message us **prior to placing your order** to ensure that we will be to meet your deadline. Please note that we will not see any note you put on the order itself until your order comes up on the work queue. To save all of us from frustration and disappointment, we will only commit to a rush order if we are confident that we can meet your deadline.

Please review your address during checkout. If your order is lost or returned to us because of an incorrect address, we are unable to refund until the order is back in our possession. Sometimes USPS can take several weeks to return an item shipped to the wrong address.

We use USPS for shipping from Massachusetts. You can choose from First Class, Priority, or Express during checkout. As soon as your item is ready, the Track Package button will be activated on your order. You can check the tracking by going to Purchases & Reviews under the "You" menu.

The following countries provide tracking information for packages after leaving the US: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Thailand, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (current as of 07/14/20). For packages going to other international destinations, tracking will be updated only until the package leaves the US.

Please be aware that postal delivery are estimates, not guarantees. Delays do happen occasionally, but as long as the tracking is still showing that the package is in transit, then all should be well. Once an item leaves our hands it is the full responsibility of the Postal Service. We cannot be held responsible for unexpected shipping delays caused by the post office and cannot refund the shipping fee or the cost of the item in these cases.

In the very unlikely chance that your order is lost in the mail: We will replace it at no charge if the tracking number does not show as "delivered" AND tracking shows no update for three weeks (eight weeks for international packages sent to the countries listed above that provide tracking). For international packages to countries that do not provide tracking updates, we cannot replace packages after proving shipment. However, please contact us and we will work with you on a compromise!
We are not responsible for missing items marked as "delivered," as this is the responsibility of the post office. Please contact your local post office and follow the suggestions offered at missingmail.usps.com

We package everything carefully, but if your item arrives to you broken or damaged in transit, please send us a photo to document. We will replace the item if it was broken or damaged by the postal service as long as we receive notification within 5 days of the delivery date according to USPS tracking (or within 8 weeks of the order date if the country does not provide tracking to delivery).

Please be aware of your country's customs import and restrictions. As the importer, customs import duties/fees are the customer's responsibility. We are not able to pay these fees in advance from the US.

We package everything in found or recycled materials, which is good for your and for our mama earth.
