I love these chrysoprase studs, the silver is nice and oxidized. They are exactly what I was looking for. They came in a very tiny and super cute box too!

In college, while studying Psychology, I had an amazing professor that opened me up to the idea of working in metal. I started with simple wire wrapped designs and natural stones, sometimes working more on jewelry projects than Psychology papers. Eventually, I realized this wasn't enough for me, I wanted to 'own' more of the piece I created. I slowly bought more tools and tried new techniques. I began to conceive of making pieces I never thought possible and then, through hard work and practice, they came to be. My skill set grew and my love of simple, elegant and wearable design flourished. The best part of my day was sitting at my little desk, bringing to life an idea while my two boys napped.

Isn't nature amazing? I am constantly blown away by the small details I find in nature. Have you ever watched pollen granules blow across the petal of a flower? Or really look at the beautiful striations in an ordinary piece of natural stone? I have. It thrills me every day to construct pieces that emphasize these wonderful juxtapositions; the beauty of sterling silver, the exquisite variety of natural stones and the delicacy of the natural world.
