Paleo Paints and Earth-Tone Paintings

Wild Ozark Paleo Paints are paints made the old way, the way it was done before artists could walk into an art shop to buy art supplies already prepared.

My paint is made from hand-gathered rocks, clay or herbal materials using gum Arabic as the binder. A little honey is included to aid with wetting and flow, and a few drops of essential oils are added to help with mold prevention.

I live in the middle of 160 acres of Ozark wilderness. Nature is a constant companion and muse. If there's one thing we have a lot of in the Ozarks, it's rocks! Welcome a little bit of the Soul of the Ozarks into your life with handmade watercolor paints.

First I make the paints, and then I make the paintings! I sell the paints, the pigments, paintings and prints made using my handmade watercolors, and note cards and stickers using prints of the original paintings.
