5 out of 5 starsThis is beautiful and practical; I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to both get to know the city better and add to their art collection. However, I got the 10x18; given the amount of detail, I think it would be even better in a larger size.

Frequently asked questions
What sort of paper do you use?
Unless otherwise stated or ordered, all 11x17 prints are printed on high quality card-stock. Larger prints vary, but typically are printed either on premium glossy or matte paper unless otherwise specified. The majority of my maps are printed, packaged and shipped by me. Depending on availability, some of the larger prints may be printed and shipped directly from a trusted and tested third-party printing service in order to expedite shipping times.
How are the maps made?
All of my maps are hand-drawn, usually using an iPad Pro and a stylus, and are based on publicly available information from sources like the US Geological Service, the National Park Service, or equivalent state or city agencies. Some of the more complicated maps take about a week to do, others can be done in a few hours. Most (if not all) of my maps are of places that I personally have visited myself and that mean something to me.
Unlike most other map products you may find on Etsy or elsewhere, which are often just plugged into a GIS program and then spit out for you to overpay for something that took minimal effort, my prints are done the long way, entirely by hand.
Custom and personalized orders
Customization is an option for some of my maps, but the changes do take time and effort so I charge a little extra for modification requests, starting at $15 in addition to the base price of the item being modified for basic modifications (e.g. changing the color of something, adding or removing text, etc.). More complicated requests are charged higher fees on a case-by-case basis, depending on the complexity of the requested modifications. Contact me with specific requests and we can work out the details.
Are your maps 100% accurate?
These are meant to be artistic decorative prints, and some artistic license has usually been taken in drawing them. But they are indeed based on actual, real-life data from extremely reliable public data sources, so they shouldn't deviate too far from reality despite some artistic flourish being used.
How quickly do you ship?
Usually pretty fast. While I can't guarantee I'll be able to ship this quickly every time, I normally will have your maps packed and ready to go at the post office by the next business day after your order. All orders will be shipped within three business days, max, unless otherwise stated.
